I GOT MY CHECK FINALLY!!! everything that everyone is typing about is TRUE, ALL OF IT! I live in lovely LA and here we have something called "Department of Insurance" your state might have it also... look-in-to-it. I must say you have to get the DOL involved. For months Bob and I talked via phone and email. I asked for his supervisor Cynthia about every-time we talked by phone and email. He laughed at me and said good luck trying to reach her. "F*** really," I can not speak with your supervisor. NOPE, he said. No-really, Access is ONE of those insurance company that we see on commercials and how other insurance companies make fun of-it. Spoke with Bob again (Claim Adjuster for Access) on or about 1/9/17 for about TWO-THREE MONTHS about my settlement. PAUSE.. BTW: Their insured hit me from the back at a red stop light in July 2016. Bob had the nerve to offer me $500 on 1/9/17, then he moved up to $2500 then $5000 then $6000, now 5/5/17 i just received my check for 9k. THANK YOU F*** ACCESS. I did all this MYSELF without an attorney, if i used one he or she would have took about $3000-4000. Access do not care if you have an attorney it will just take more $$$ from your pie -and we all want our own pie! read more

I was rear ended by one of their clients in January. After MANY phone calls, and strange telephone conversations they send me $300 dollars to repair about $500 worth of damage. I call them back and have not yet heard from them after two weeks. Very unprofessional and unresponsive communication with this company. Terrible Insurance company. HORRIBLE. ATROCIOUS. UNPROFESSIONAL. FRUSTRATING. Access General Insurance is one of the lowest insurance companies out there. The first thing I thought about this company is "Is it fake? Does it even exist?" And those are very stressful questions to be asking about an insurance company when someone basically just DESTROYED YOUR PRECIOUS CAR. Their insured, a guy visiting from China, with a green paper Chinese license on hand, had only been in our country TWO DAYS (got access insurance and his rental the day before the accident) until he had to rear-end my pristine, perfect 88 325is, causing me to lunge forward and hit the car in front of me, completely crushing both ends of my car. He must have been coming 40mph when I was stopped at that stoplight, causing his windshield to shatter and airbags to deploy, and my car to be totaled. I immediately filed a claim with Access that Friday, with a claims associate who took forever to record the claim. They gave me the name of my claims adjustor, Gina Lopez. I proceeded to leave a voicemail for Gina since she did not answer the phone in her office at 1pm, really needing to get the process started. I did not hear back from her that day. I did not hear back from her the next day or the next day or the day after that!! A whole Monday!!!! And, I called back each day and left another voicemail because it was imperative that she call me back so I could get a rental, get to the places I needed to go to, and get my life going! Finally, after deciding that this GINA LOPEZ DID NOT EXIST, since its been a whole business day and no answer, I call the general claims line (a 30 minute wait on hold to talk to anyone MIND YOU!) and I tell them of my situation, I ask what the he"" is happening with my claim, and why my claims adjustor is MIA, and that I need authorization so I can get my rental car going, since I already paid $180 out of pocket for the weekend, which they should be reimbursing me! The lady said, oh it looks like we need to send a guy out to access your car. Then she proceeded to transfer me to GINA LOPEZ's lin, when I adamantly asked for a different adjustor since this Gina is horrid and might not exist. The lady told me she could not change the adjustor and transferred me to GINA. GUESS WHAT! THE TRANSFER WENT STRAIGHT TO GINA's VOICEMAIL! I musta heard that message a million times. SO. 1. I waited 30 min to speak to a random rep 2. I waited just to be transferred to a voicemail. 3. The same voicemail I've been reaching with that extension number. I then called Access again, waited 30 minutes again... phone to my ear for 30 min! and asked for them to help me out with my claim again, but not patch me through to GINA LOPEZ cause last time they did that I went to her voicemail and wasted my time. This time I wanted to speak to who was in charge. I wanted to speak to the manager, and the lady on the phone says "Oh well my manager is not in charge of the that claims adjustor" and I say "WELL CAN YOU GIVE ME THE MANAGER OR PERSON IN CHARGE OF GINA LOPEZ SPECIFICALLY THEN." I left that manager, again to voicemail (in the middle of the day), a disgruntled message and FINALLY FINALLY, the next day, after my angry message to her manager, did I finally hear from GINA LOPEZ. DAY 6. Ridiculous... After that fiasco, they finally give me an estimate about 3 weeks later. I call Gina Lopez to get her email to send her extra property that was damaged, and guess what. NO ANSWER for 4 days again. Again, voicemail. I called her back today, Monday, no answer. Finally instead of the extension taking me to Gina Lopez, it takes me to the customer service line. There they tell me Gina Lopez IS NOT my claims adjustor anymore. It's Brent now. WHAT?! Why did my adjustor just change out the blue and not notify me of the new person and their new extension!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Those 4 days got wasted because they could not relay to me that my adjustor changed. Hopefully this guy is better than Gina. On the bright side he answered my call 2:30 Western (4:30 Eastern for him) when his call hours are 7am-4pm. But Access is absolutely ridiculous. Please put them out of business. Insurance is important, and everyday and minute wasted is precious. Now the out of pocket expense for this rental keeps increasing day by day. This is the absolute worst insurance company. They lie and they have no customer service skills at all. They get hostile when you ask them questions. They don't communicate. And when you finally get in touch with them they lie and hang up on you. Kary Brown is who I was assigned to and he is lying pos. Never deal with these rotten people. They dont return phone calls, emails, or even a courtesy call especially that socal "adjuster" Iva Pearson unprofessional even or manager Miguelita Cason she cant return a call! I just don't wish them to be in my shoes one day and be without a car after an accident! This company or Ms. Pearson has time to send me a letter in the mail stating "she's trying to reach me" HELLOOOOOO I've been waiting for a phone and she has not call at all! WE got hit by one of their insureds...they will not accept responsibility, drag their feet and do not communicate! Planning a lawsuit as well.
