That's not a very good doctor or provider. I highly recommend free medicade and other dentist due to this one not caring that we are adults who run into issues once in a blue moon. I get you can call ahead but I didn't know I was going to hit a deer on my way and now I can only miss one apoinment more till I'm never allowed back. Got to love private business. I say support big business due to them not treating you like its 8th grade.

He's as knowledgeable and gifted as any dentist or doctor, for that matter, that I've ever experienced. From my initial consultation I learned I have a couple fillings and a tooth in the back that needs extraction. The good doctor examined the X-rays and explained in great detail all my options, their pros/cons and most importantly, his opinion. I may be dumb, but I'm not stupid. We went with his recommendation. He painlessly numbed the area to the point where you could have hit me with a sock full of quarters and I wouldn't have felt a thing. He then took care of the biggest concerns and again explained my dental situation to me. After the insurance kicked in, the cost was shockingly low. The whole was over in a very short time and there were no complications. All I have to compare him to is the questionable dds' in Nevada, Texas, Alaska and Utah. He was far better then any of them. Of you have the opportunity, get in to see this man. His staff are wonderful and efficient. His assistant, Daphne, is witty and talented. Great day for us. Five stars, hands down. 02/24

I take impeccable care of my teeth but not having seen a dentist in nearly seven years, I was very…read morenervous, as there was work to be done. Dr. Hall was insightful and professional with respect to how she practiced, giving me a tour of the office and equipment (she's new in the area) before we even started. That said, she replaced one filling that fell out years ago, repaired another that broke in half literally ten minutes after I made the initial appointment (that was just plain weird!) and a third that needed some basic restructuring. She worked on all three that day taking roughly an hour to finish. It's been a few days now and the surgery seems to have gone very well. I have zero complaints and that comes from someone normally quite fearful of the dentist. I highly recommend her! She's new to the area professionally speaking and (as of right now) will probably see you on short notice if you really need to get in. She does normally specialize in pediatric dentistry but my inner child is very happy with the work done thus far.

While on a flight from…read moreCalifornia to Pellston, a large piece of my front tooth broke off while eating a small pretzel. I was mortified! Upon landing I immediately tried to find a dentist to help me but being July the first four I contacted were on vacation! Through a recommendation I called Dr. Whitcomb's office and what a blessing that was. His staff is absolutely wonderful and gave me an appointment right away. They were very sympathetic to my dilemma and so kind when I arrived at the office. Dr. Whitcomb was outstanding to say the least and did a fantastic job repairing my tooth. I actually had another situation the next month with another tooth and both Dr. Whitcomb and his staff graciously took care of me right away. I am deeply grateful to all of them and plan to go back to Dr. Whitcomb this summer when I return to Petoskey for some more consultation on further treatments. They are the BEST!!!
