I was met at my car by staff who was kind, informative, and efficient. She asked where I would be traveling to in order to make sure that I would have the correct test completed. I never had to leave my car! Doctor Lovelace himself came to my car and performed the COVID swab and made sure to answer all of my questions. I love the office staff here, they make you feel like family and Dr. Alt my neurologist is not like most doctors. He will actually have off topic conversations with you like he's your friend while other take their jobs seriously not that I have a problem with anyone taking their job seriously but, it's a nice feeling when it's not all about the job. My only complaint is the wait and of course that's with most specialists.

Setting up an appointment is easy, and typically, I get in to see her in just a day or two. I've had family doctors where I would get well on my own (or thanks too urgent care) before I ever got an appointment. She takes her time with me. With so many doctors, they breeze in, half-listen to you, prescribe something that doesn't work, and scram. She sits and listens, ask questions, and answers your questions fully. It's not unusual to have a ten to fifteen minute conversation with her on an issue. She also reviews your record, looking for any wellness things that need to be looked at, like vaccinations. She is proactive with wellness care. She offers suggestions for diet and exercise changes to make, for example. I made an off-hand complaint about some soreness I was experiencing from a new exercise program, and she took the time to find and photocopy a four-page article showing specific stretches to help with my issue. If you are in the market for a new family doctor, I recommend Dr. Kim highly. She's a real pro.

My mother passed away years ago from medical condition that we feel should have been caught much earlier than it was. As my father got older, Dr. Rueff began charging a concierge fee, which many doctors do however, as my father spent more time in the hospital and Dr Rueff had to make more frequent visits, he was rude to our family and the nursing staff. When we moved my father out of Louisville, and he had 7 month remaining in his concierge contract, we asked for a refund and we were denied. Dr. Rueff did not respond to 2 legal request. It is very clear to my family that he takes advantage of the elderly. Do you want this to be your doctor?

A few weeks later we had a health crisis, so I called Dr. Rueff to acquaint him with the details. He replied, "That's a case for your [specialist]." He made no offer or attempt to help, and acted as if our problem had no pertinence to him. A few weeks later, his office staff called to set up initial lab work. The availability for appointments was extremely limited--not what one would expect from a concierge practice. There were very few appointments, and no time that worked for us. The next time we heard from them was two months later when "Jamie" called to find out if we would pay to renew! I was distressed, and said that our first payment had been a waste of money. Jamie yelled into the phone, "NO! DR. RUEFF IS A VERY GOOD DOCTOR!" and hung up on me! Incredibly unprofessional. A complete ripoff.
