My son even told them on one what the check engine light was going to be just by listening and at first they thought he was wrong and seemed a little irritated that we even ask about it.

They advertised free delivery, which was a huge selling point since my wife and I both work long hours and it's very difficult for us to get time off together during our busy season. Unfortunately, my experience went downhill almost immediately. My first interactions with the dealership were cold and unhelpful. I also asked about using the "Big Beautiful Deal" financing incentive (the U.S. government-backed interest incentive), which my wife had just used on her new Jeep Gladiator and they acted like they had never heard of it. I later learned that Ram 2500 trucks are assembled in Mexico and do not qualify, so it was pretty obvious they either didn't know what they were talking about or just didn't care enough to be honest. The truck itself was exactly what I wanted, and the price was competitive, so I decided to move forward with the purchase. The truck arrived during a pouring rainstorm, so everything looked fine at first. The next day, once I had a chance to inspect it carefully, I found several issues that should never have made it past any halfway decent pre-delivery inspection: Deep scratches in the paint on both the driver-side and rear driver-side door thresholds. The sunroof did not work. The cup holders had deep gouges in the plastic. The undercarriage was caked with road salt, dirt, and grime despite the truck having only 17 miles on it. There was already excessive surface rust underneath because the truck clearly had never been properly cleaned after transport. Polish residue had been splattered over parts of the exterior and even inside the truck. The interior and exterior were both dirty when delivered. I spent an entire weekend washing the undercarriage trying to remove the salt and grime, and it just kept coming. A brand-new truck should never be delivered in that kind of neglected, sloppy condition. To Kernersville Ram's credit, they did replace the damaged cup holder. I also took the truck to my local Ram dealer, where they repaired the sunroof under the factory warranty. However, after I sent Kernersville Ram an estimate for the paint repairs, I never received a response. They simply ignored the issue, which was just as disappointing as the condition the truck arrived in. Looking back, buying a vehicle sight unseen was my mistake, and I won't make that mistake again. Online pictures wont show what they dont want you to see. Hopefully, others can learn from my experience. This was my first Ram, and it has honestly left a very poor impression of both the dealership and the Ram brand's quality control. Between the careless pre-delivery inspection, the cosmetic damage, the excessive road salt and rust underneath, and the complete lack of follow-up after the sale, this was a pretty lousy way to be introduced to a brand-new heavy-duty truck. Before this purchase, My most recent new vehicle purchase was a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado LTZ from Rusty Wallace Chevrolet in Clinton, Tennessee, and that buying experience was outstanding from start to finish. Once I've put some miles on this Ram, I'll likely go back to Chevrolet where at least they know how to deliver a truck in proper condition and treat customers like they matter. I cannot recommend Kernersville Ram based on my experience, and I hope both the dealership and Ram take customer satisfaction and quality control a lot more seriously in the future. Update: I purchased this Ram 2500 in May and paid it off in June. I recently received a letter from Ally stating they never received the title and that I must obtain a replacement through my local DMV because the dealership failed to submit it. This has been another disappointing experience with Kernersville Ram. I would not recommend this dealership.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE…read more If I could give a negative rating, I would. Extremely disappointing and misleading experience at Carmine's Import Service. I was told by Tesla that my 2020 Tesla Model Y Performance needed a battery pack replacement. Before committing to Tesla, I called this shop and spoke with someone I believe was named Max, who assured me they could do the job and had third-party battery options that would be cheaper than Tesla. Based on that information, I paid $400 out of pocket to tow my car from Raleigh to their shop. That's where the red flags started. * It took over two days just to get a diagnosis, and I had to repeatedly call for updates. * I was charged $243.13 for the diagnostic, despite the delays and lack of communication. * My advisor, Marissa, told me she was "looking for a battery," which alone took another full day. * When I finally received an estimate, I was shocked: $28,000 total, with $23,000 claimed just for the battery. For comparison, Tesla charges around $13,000 for the same battery replacement -- and I personally found a compatible battery online for $14,500, which still makes their quoted $23,000 battery price extremely inflated. When I asked for a detailed, itemized estimate (battery source, labor hours, cost breakdown), I never received one. They could never explain where the battery was coming from, how many labor hours were involved, or why the price was so high. I asked twice to speak with a manager. Messages were taken both times. No manager ever called or texted me back. Because no repair was done, I then had to pay another $500 to tow my car back to Raleigh, wasting $900 total in towing alone, plus the $243.13 diagnostic fee -- not counting time and stress. Between the lack of transparency, the exaggerated battery cost, the inflated estimate, and zero management follow-up, this experience felt misleading and unprofessional. I wasted time, money, and trust bringing my vehicle here. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
