The last thing they need to encounter is patronizing and condescending personnel during a time when they are already despondent over the near death of their everyday tool and the costs they are soon incur. Matt is none of those things. He is honest to a fault. People have intuition and can differentiate compassion when it is truly offered versus a person who exudes policies, practices and procedures while lacking the qualities of empathy. The qualities I have described cannot be taught; they are innate; either you possess them or you do not and Matt definitely does have them. Thank you Matt you truly rescued us. A special shout out to Andy Krezinski, an administrator who is both professional and genuine and the first person you will meet when entering Madison Geeks.

It is quite impressive the way it is designed and a bit overwhelming at times too. Not sure how it works though having employees work in conference rooms/offices while doors are open and outsiders are walking around. Seems strange to me and not very security tight if you know what I mean. We walked a lot, for hours, and still did not see everything. Recommended if in the area.

This place is definitely EPIC!…read more As a nurse who has used Epic EMR my entire 20 year career, this is the mecca of healthcare businesses. It truly is the equivalent of a workplace Disney World. I can only dream of ever working here! The campus is HUGE! It's impossible to see everything in 1 day. I was here for 4 days of training and could only get through 5/6 areas. As a Harry Potter fan, my favorite was the Wizards Academy. But all the themes are so fun. They're also opening a new Narnia/LOTR section year and are expanding the Deep Space area. Everyone I met there was so helpful and friendly. I got lost several times while I was walking around the buildings and there was always a friendly face to point me in the right direction. I also appreciate that all the parking is underground to shield from the elements. It was hot when I went, but I can imagine it getting hard to get around in the winter. I hope I get to come back for more fun! P.S. Surprise at the negative reviews. People have to remember this is a workplace! Having outsiders walking around can be disruptive. I can understand why they limit group size or turn away people on any given day.

I had read Elaine Meszaros' great book, The Devil's Advocate's Guide to Planning Your Business…read moreWebsite (https://www.amazon.com/Devils-Advocates-Planni.../.../B0147B8WS4). It was helpful and informative and, like other examples of Elaine's writing, funny and entertaining. I had made and managed a website for my work as a musician and yoga teacher for many years, but it had a limited format and was time-consuming to update. So I asked Elaine to help me pull together an affordable new website that I could maintain, for the most part, on my own. She recommended WordPress, and she built the website with all of the features I asked for: the kind of menu that I liked, a homepage that moved the way that I wanted it to; soothing colors and a font that I liked; a place to schedule yoga sessions; a place for listening to cuts of songs and for buying downloads or CDs; and a blog. Elaine also helped me learn how to go in to work on the site, adding text, updates, and photos that I take. Learning to work with WordPress brought out all of my technophobic tics, and I needed a fair amount of help along the way. But Elaine stayed patient and clear with me, and we got it done... And I now have a website that I really like, and the basic skills to work with it, update it, and keep it going on my own. Elaine Meszaros is great. She is smart, funny, and knows how to work well with crotchety clients who have a hard time learning a new technology. I'm sure she would do well with mellower clients, too! I recommend her highly--as a very creative visual artist and graphic designer, as a web designer, and as an educator who can demystify tech processes and make them accessible for people like me who struggle with them.
