Fast forward to Monday and I get a rescheduling message for the the following day (which I was okay with). The day of service the owner was very nice and friendly, however, after the service I noticed a layer of pet hair still on the carpet. When inquiring about the service I let him know there were pets and even paid for an extra service to get out pet odor. I reached out to him about this and got ghosted about the matter. The cleaning of the rug itself is okay, he spent more time setting up the equipment than actually cleaning the rug. Overall I don't think it's worth the money.

Unfortunately, they were all here before I moved in 10/13/18 so I wasn't sure what they were from. Generations Carpet Cleaning were able to remove all the stains! My carpet throughout my apartment looks brand new!! Also, the product they used doesn't have a terribly strong smell and actually smells good. I removed all the items I could from the floor and they cleaned everywhere! Thank you so much! You guys did a fantastic job!

I called on a Monday, spoke to the owner of the business, had an appointment setup by Wednesday to…read moreget carpet in tiny, itsy, small apartment cleaned. The young gentleman showed up in an older truck (loved that, very nice personality - a sweet person!) with cleaning supplies, a big vacuum/steamer and took 25 min. to do basic steamed carpet cleaning and even went over traffic pattern twice as requested where lots of walking from kitchen to bedroom occurred, creating a dirty path. After the cleaning occurred, the traffic pattern was still there and granted it'll never look fresh or as clean compared to first time moving in, but I thought it'd be a great idea to put dish soap on filthy carpet and since in process of moving out, dish soap was only thing lying around and added little water to carpet and scrubbed my heart out. Bad idea! Do not attempt to remedy a problem yourself, thinking that your amateur idea will produce a fresh, spotless carpet...this only made the traffic pattern worse and darker color! I love DYI projects...this did not fair out well for me and a spontaneous idea with no research on my behalf, so I definitely recommend letting the expert carpet cleaners guide you! I had to call the business for their expertise on how to fix a bigger problem I created to which he said there wasn't too much to be done unless I wanted to pay for premium steam cleaning of carpet and didn't want to invest any more money in cleaning the carpet. I truly appreciated the owner's help and thankfully received all deposit back as most rentals ripe out old carpet and replace it. Everyone was professional, courteous and very helpful - love this mom and pop business, would definitely reuse should my future entail carpet. However, I don't foresee it because carpet has a tendency to absorb dirt and personally I prefer laminate, tile or wood! I know, different soaps exist for different purposes, but sometimes my impatience and desperation gets the best of me...not my best moment in this situation. (O.o)''
