This guy rocks! He…read morerecently catered a wedding I attended and he did not disappoint. Would recommend hiring him for any event in the Halifax area. Super friendly dude with a delicious menu. Also, handled a curveball really well. It started raining during the rehearsal dinner and he improvised and made it all work!

Very disappointed. Attended a wedding in October. The…read moreplan was to buy supper from the food truck. Due to kidney failure, About 2 weeks prior to the wedding I l called to inquire about what the lowest sodium option that they would be serving was. I had to leave a message and never heard back. When we arrived at the venue, I stopped by the truck prior to the wedding and asked. They suggested chicken taco. The problem was that the "plan" changed unbeknownst to the wedding party, but folks would no longer order their own options, but would be charged a set price per head and the food would be put out buffet style. This made it impossible to get my chicken taco. Instead, I ended up with a VERY salty slider and a small broccoli salad for $40 !!!! Why couldn't they set up a special section of the buffet marked with the items that were certified not to contain allergens, gluten, lower salt that they know of well before the wedding day. I guess what disappoints me most is how upsetting this was for the bride, ON HER BIG DAY!!! I think communication prior to the wedding day, could have saved a lot of stress and hurt. Unfortunately, seeing their lack of responsibility and reliability leads me to question what other rules they don't mind ignoring. Certainly would not recommend for an event.

Our resident vegetarian even made an exception and tried some. Even something as unassuming as a grilled cheese sandwich? The BEST grilled cheese I've ever had. Delicious cheddar, perfectly grilled to the crispiest, crunchiest, tastiest, yum level ever. I'd tell you about my son's burger but he inhaled it so fast I couldn't get an accurate description other than it was "10/10, would eat again." And they had ice cream! Though we were full. Others stopped by just for that. If you're on the way to Peggy's Cove or on the way back, you HAVE TO STOP HERE. Oh, we had some cherry square/bar that was great

It was quite expensive for what it was. For two turkey sandwiches (with no side), a loaf of bread and two squares it was almost $50! The sandwiches were mediocre. The ingredients and bread were all fine - but that's it, just fine. Definitely not worth the price - it would have been $3-$4 cheaper to get a hamburger than it was a plain turkey sandwich. It was a hit and a miss - we'll keep going back for a sweet treat but in the nicest way possible you can get a much better and cheaper lunch elsewhere.
