This place is a complete SCAM! They fail their would-be first time drivers routinely over minor infractions that should be a verbal warning. This is so that you have to pay an additional $78 per test. They will also end a test after only a few minutes, issue an unwarranted failure and collect their $78 for services not actually rendered. This place should be reported by everyone to the Secretary of State! While in their waiting room, I witnessed multiple people having to schedule to "test again", due to their policy of fail as often as possible. Go the few extra miles and steer clear of this place. They are on a greedy power trip. read more

I've had 3 children test with Academy testing. Most of the testers are very encouraging. The driving route(s) provide for proper testing of driving skills. Overall, a pleasant experience (especially once it is over; children are nervous before and during testing). During our most recent experience, the tester helped ease my daughter's nerves by talking a calm and gentle voice. The testing facility has a practice parking course available, which is very helpful. read more

they are very Professional and very nice; they leave their cones up all the time for people to come and practice. they encourage people to come and practice so that they can pass and get their license. they are all so very nice. my instructor Jim made me feel confident, on passing the test so could get my license. I did pass, i would most definitely recommend this place to everyone i meet that is trying to get there license. read more

My GPS took me to the wrong place... Called multiple times to get directions and nobody answered the phone. Arrived a few minutes late and my son was not allowed to test after driving an hour and a half to get there. Mind you, when I arrived it was a woman sitting in the office all alone. When I asked why she wasn't answering the phone she smiled and said "We don't answer the phone on Saturdays". I could just picture her sitting there watching the phone ring over and over as we frantically tried to find the place... Went elsewhere and had a very pleasant experience. read more
