July 28, 2010 My birthday. A friend mentioned that this was one of his favorite bars in the city so naturally we decided to stop in for a beverage. A beverage turned into three a piece. One of my beverages was called Death in the Afternoon (champagne and absinthe). The rest of the night is a bit on the hazy side... I will say this though. The bartender and server were both fantastic. The drinks were superb and delicious. There were so many unique concoctions to choose from with extraordinary names.
