Worst credential evaluation you'd choose. Too much hassle, first they asked for transcript record to be emailed which is done then after that they ask for another document! They should have asked all the documents required in one email! I think this is a scam trying to prolong the process. read more

I see so many bad reviews and I don't know why, I didn't check the reviews until I have paid them , I was a little scared after I read all , but I have to say the truth and they were pretty nice to me, good customer service, it was me the noisy onethey told me 3-5 days in Rush service and I was sending inbox after the second day every day until the 4 day, I shouldn't it but since I was a little confused I did. Trust me, you will be very regretful if you choose their service. I use them to evaluate my bachelor's degree. They have a list of required documents. I provided them with the documents and then paid. Then, ridiculous things happened. - After a week, they ask me for verification report from CHESICC. Then I spend time getting the documents from CHESICC and send to AES. - After another week, they ask me for the so-called "graduation certificate". (I have given them my bachelor's degree certificate.) OK, I give the "graduation certificate" to them. - After a while, they ask me for $100 translation fee because "graduation certificate" is not in English. I don't know WTF is happening. Why in the beginning didn't they specify the required documents? If they need additional documents, why didn't let me know at once? They ask for one thing after a week, and then another thing after another week. It's a huge waste of time. And they keep on asking for more fees. It's like scam. read more

Be warned. Please consider other organizations before wasting your time and money with this one. I wish I had known. If you use their services, you will for sure regret it. Especially if you are coming from African countries such as Kenya and did not get high scores in your examinations. My daughter graduated high school in Kenya and on trying to get an evaluation to prove high school graduation for employment and enlisting in the military, they said that she completed high school but did not graduate. When we enquired from them, they said that she had gotten low scores and hence they don't consider that graduating high school. How can your original country consider you a high school graduate and even issue a high school diploma but this academic evaluators say you never graduated, what a mess? read more

This place is not qualified. They do not spend time doing much research at all. The director of evaluations name carries no degree qualifications of any kind. They were supposed to evaluate a degree/board certification for my wife but the person did not even know the name of that degree. He had done no research at all (and the turn back time was very quick), and simply avoided answering questions or describe his research to evaluate a degree, Instead, he arrogantly walked away. The organization itself has a web address of ".org", which suggests a non-profit organization, but the actual name of the company and in the company letterhead is "Inc", a for profit organization. And they charge a hefty fee for writing some report. USF and any other schools locally or otherwise should de-link their approval of this place for evaluations. read more

I'd rather have a vasectomy without any anesthesia than have to deal with this place ever again. They are so incredibly rude. I dreaded calling them every time I needed something from this place. I can't tell you how many times they just hung up on me. The customer service is absolutely atrocious. They have zero patience and won't even make an effort to listen to you. I get it it's sometimes hard to understand different accents, but for the love of god, your main clientele is primarily foreigners, find someone who has the patience. I've worked in customer service for the most part of my adult life and I can't possibly imagine treating anyone the way they talked to me every time I called. I give this company a giant minus star review. They will rip you off. They are not qualified to charge for the quality of the "service" they provide. They continuously made a lot of inaccuracies in their translations, costing me additional time reviewing after them and doing their job. They bent and stained my mark sheet and stole my plastic folder, which I used to protect the document. I told them in advance not to remove the document from plastic and not bend it. After all, they refused to fix the translation errors they made. Their Director is extremely rude and intentionally creates false accusations to avoid completing the work. I was not able to use their evaluation due to the multiple errors they made. They ignored my request to return my money. I filed a complaint with BBB and will proceed with the Consumer Rights complaint. That is a scam, and they need to close their business. I regret I did not check the yelp for the reviews before sending them my money. I see that that they have ripped off a lot of people. read more

This is the worst evaluation agency anyone can possibly have the misfortune to run into. They almost caused me a heart attack back in 2016. I studied Law at the University of Havana at various times in the past (1996-1999 and 2013-2016) and thoroughly explained to them why I had 3 transcripts (an old one from 1996-1999, a partial one from 2013 -which I used to replace a Math requirement at FIU with a Computer Science course taken at the University of Havana- and, then, the last one from 2016, when I graduated, which included the courses validated from 1996-1999, plus all the courses taken from 2013 through 2016). Their lack of understanding of the Cuban high education system is perplexing; therefore, they accused me of furnishing fraudulent documents and refused to apologize even though I provided them with the cell phone of the dean of the faculty of distance education from the University of Havana, who was personally willing to vouch for me. They tend to deceive Cuban customers into believing that they won't have to order the transcripts through the Consultoría Jurídica Internacional (CJI), which charges about 400 USD for sending the transcripts directly to them, and then, once you have paid for their services, they inform you that you have to have the CJI mail them the transcripts. Since I was aware of that tactic, I had them check my documents in advance, before I paid for their services, and they said that I didn't need to go through the CJI. In addition to my transcripts, I also turned in my diploma and they returned it to me partially crumpled because they were not even careful handling it. Cuban university diplomas, unlike those issued here in the United States, are a rolled parchment that can easily be crumpled. The owner of this pathetic for-profit company is a Brazilian national called Lou Nunes and I had to dispute the charge posted on my credit card to get my money back. She was arrogant and unapologetic during my interaction with her and refused to contact the dean of the faculty because, otherwise, she would have had to apologize to me for her false accusations. Not only are they mediocre and rude, but terrible human beings as well. Do not use their services! Terrible. I am very unimpressed by the professionalism of this company. I call to inquire if my transcripts will suffice for degree confirmation, they tell me "No, only an original diploma". Their website confirms this. Then I spend $100 to get a new diploma issued and flown down here. When I go to the office they tell me, they don't even need my diploma, just the transcripts! Well thanks for turning this into a $190 expense because of your own mistake. You're much better off with a different company. I will be reporting this to my HR so they stop referring people to this company. read more

Did not communicate well at all and horrible customer service website is not clear at all as far as which documents you need for certain evaluations and then never follow up after paying if you prepay. I have my degree evaluated by three different agencies, and AES was the best, very easy to submit my application and documents, the process was fast during the evaluation and certification. Also, I ordered additional copy later, and on the same day, it was complete and mailed! Another important this is AES evaluation and certification is widely accredited and accepted. I just wanted to do the review they deserve and not only doing bad reviews just in case of being dissatisfied. read more

We sent an application to Academic Evaluation Services to review an international high school transcript so my cousin could attend college in the US. We called prior to submitting the application to verify that the Engish translation we were providing would be adequate. Apparently it was not. The company says they sent two automated emails to my cousin informing her that the translation had to be done by an internationally certified translator -- a service which their company charges $50 a page. My cousin says she did not receive the emails. We only found out about the problem when I called the company to find out why the school had not received the evaluation. The delay ended up costing my cousin the opportunity to study in the US. And the academic evaluation was never done. To add insult to injury, Academic Evaluation Services refuses to refund the $110 fee, under their "no cancellations" policy. They may be technically right -- but they are not the people you want to work with if anything goes wrong. read more

I am so happy and satisfied with Academic Evaluation Services. They treat their costumers with respect, they are very professional and on time. They constantly update the status of your evaluation and courteous over the phone. There is always somebody to help you and they are very responsive with your questions. I was very particular with my choice and I did a lot of research reading reviews online with the credentialing service providers accredited by the NACES before I decided to chose AES. I am extremely satisfied with this company. I sent them my documents and as promised i got a call on the 9th of Nov 2011 that my evaluation is ready and i received all my completed docs by 11th. No delivery issues, no original documents were lost or damaged as some other companies have done that. After a long research of evaluation agencies, I found this and luckily it is accepted by my university. I am happy I went with this agency. I would strongly recommend this. read more
