Been to this shooting range about 10 times or so over the past three years it's always been an extremely pleasant experience with very nice people working there. Today, I decided to take my girlfriend for her first time shooting and the man working the counter (3/19/2020 7:00-8:00 p.m.) was beyond rude.. in EVERY WAY. The man was rude to my girlfriend for not having the proper ID but she's from Argentina so she doesn't have a U.S. ID... he then proceeded to be difficult about selling me ammunition, Earmuffs, and glasses; making small comments while arrogantly giggling like "you need to go buy this stuff ahead of time" and "have it ready next time" and maybe you'd be better off with these 50¢ ear plugs. Again, I've always had an awesome time here and after driving an hour to get there I wasn't going to let him ruin my time. After this, my girlfriend and I began shooting and although there were other people in the range the man continued to stare at us through the window for almost the entire duration of our time on the range and even came in towards the end of our allotted time to interrupt us and ask Bel (my girlfriend) if she had gotten cut by the slide to which she responded "no" with no idea what he was talking about. He even proceeded to scoot me out of the way and adjust her grip and tells me "you should really pay more attention".. ????? Keep in mind she was using a .22.. all in all I thought he would finally leave us alone but even when we were cleaning up to go we took all of our guns out to the counter because the rifles being shot were a little too loud for Bel. As I exited he looks at me and says "you didn't clean up your brass" in an extremely hostile manner to which I responded "I know, I have to go back inside to sweep in a moment" and he chuckled and said "yeah, you better".. at this point I've had more than enough of the hostility so I ask the man how long have you been here? I've never dealt with you before.." and he responded "well I don't know what to tell you I've been here over a year and a half and walked away from me. I've enjoyed this range for a long time and I've gone out of my way to let all of my fellow Marines know about it despite it being so far out of the way but I can safely say we won't be back. Especially after noticing his demeanor was drastically different with everyone who came in that WASN'T for color. Not say he was racist, just saying he definitely treated us differently read more
