I fixed the leak but it had been leaking for so long there was visible mold on both sides of the Sheetrock. I called United Water Restoration and within 24hrs they sent someone for a free quote/assessment. Roni came by and gave me a verbal quote, we shook on it and he kept his word. No hidden fees or surprises. It's rare to find someone that will work through their schedule and yours to get the work done, but Roni did. The job was completed in the time Roni described and I am extremely satisfied. He even had a subcontractor available to assess the damage and provide a job bid to repair what was removed.

Green Valley is one of the best water districts in the state of Texas. The customer service is…read moreexcellent, their rates are very competitive (comparing rural water districts), and they are easy to deal with. They have periodically shared their commitments for future water and they have an excellent series of new water sources coming on board. Their technology could use a refresh and they appear to be doing that with a new website, new account features, new alert systems, and more customer visibility into their accounts. The recent Texas winter storm was a catastrophic event for all utilities, including Green Valley. To keep customers informed, I recently saw a presentation they gave on their handling of the storm, and they sent out over 400,000 messages and emails to customers. I had a neighbor that had a frozen pipe between the Green Valley meter and her house, and the Green Valley folks helped her get it cleared, even though it was not Green Valley's responsibility. They even had some PVC pipe on their truck to help fix it. All when the temperature was below freezing. They are good and getting better in my book.

The nice lady at the office was kind enough to try to find me someone to come this afternoon or tomorrow. She found someone to come between 2:00 to 6:00 PM. Called me back about 1:30 hours after my original call, to inform me someone is on the way, who came another 1:30 hours later. Jim Smith (Jim Rodela, as stated on the invoice), first gave me a flat rate of $300. When I said it was too much for such a small job, he said, he has to get the actual price from the van. Then he came back with a price of $168. I tried calling their office and it was after 5:00 PM, past their office hours. So, I asked Jim to connect me to their office and when I spoke with Kevin Bunner, the manager, he explained to me that a trip charge of $45 plus an hourly charge of $90, (minimum half-an-hour) will be charged. Jim ran the snake and cleared the clog in 17 minutes. So at the end of the day, they did a good job, but at a price less than originally quoted.

I've been a customer of Comfort-Air Engineering & Primo Plumbing for over five years, but my recent…read moreexperience has been unacceptable. The company double-billed me for the same AC service, an invoice I had already paid, and has ignored three months of my calls and emails seeking clarification about the second charge. I continue to receive automated invoices without any explanation of the duplicate billing or the work supposedly performed. Even worse, an employee reached out to me in an email, falsely claiming that I was trying to hold them "financially responsible" for things outside of their control simply because I asked a question about the work performed. This was especially troubling since the dispatcher had already confirmed it was the same issue being repaired a second time. Neither management nor the owner (who had been personally introduced to me) has ever responded. This company's unprofessionalism, billing errors, and disregard for customers are appalling. Avoid this company at all costs. I am now evaluating whether to escalate this matter to consumer protection agencies to prevent others from being treated the same way. It's sad to see a business I've supported for years fail to provide simple explanations and treat loyal customers this poorly. All trust has been lost. Response to the Company's response: I appreciate the company's reply, but it unfortunately confirms the very issue I described. For three months, I asked for clarification on why I was billed twice for the same unresolved problem, a matter your own dispatcher acknowledged was the same service being revisited, not a new one. That's why I reached out for clarification, as anyone would after receiving a second bill by surprise that was said to be for the same work. The repair was only completed successfully on the second visit, which is when payment should reasonably apply. The problem has since been resolved with no further issues, confirming that the first visit was not a completed job, something also acknowledged by the dispatcher. Despite repeated outreach, no one ever explained this or provided details of what was done on that second visit; I only received another invoice. After being ignored for months, I ultimately paid the second bill under threat of collections, not because the situation was ever clarified. The owner's follow-up came only after I posted this review, and even then, my questions about billing and communication were not addressed. I've been a customer for over five years and have always paid promptly once a repair was completed. My only request was transparency. It's disappointing that instead of acknowledging that, the company continues to deflect responsibility rather than address the lack of communication and customer care that led to this situation. I'm not looking to escalate this any further; I simply wanted the company to understand how this came across from a long-time customer's perspective. I genuinely hope you take this as constructive feedback. In my experience, clear communication and follow-through make all the difference in maintaining trust and long-term relationships. Disacknowledgement only leads to a loss of trust, and in this case, confirms it.
