If you love being yelled at by a secretary who thinks she is a doctor this is your place . She is rude, incompetent and enjoys talking about patients confidential information loudly so anyone in a 100 mile vicinity can hear her , She has broken other patients confidentially many times over the years including mine . If you do decide to go to hudson shores medical group I would ask to speak to the other much nicer secretary or the nurse .

I got a bill in the mail 8 days ago while on vacation. I've received 5 texts, a phone call, and already a $5 late fee for what used to be a free physcial. I Understand that may be an insurance problem but community care has been harassing me non stop. I would have paid my copay at the front desk the day of, but they said I was "all set". Seems more like a community money grab than community care. Sucks to leave but I'll be looking for a new provider.

Even when you have those "can you squeeze me in" emergencies, they do their best to get you in that day or the next. Clean waiting area. All the staff are thorough and well mannered. The nurses all have a reassuring bedside manner. They also do their best to answer all your questions, and tell you which are best to ask the doctor. Both my doctor and my daughters are easy to talk to. They explain diagnosis so you understand, discuss options. They answer all my questions, and are easily reached if you think of something after you have left. They talk to you about prescriptions and concerns of side effects or how they might make you feel. I have been coming here for about a year, and I'm happy I switched from my last doctors office. Community Care is also connected with mycareDOT. Where you can easily access your health and your child's health information. Signing up is easy, reception has you fill out a simple form and they email you the registration link.

At my first visit to the office I forgot my identification in the car and staff was honestly incredibly rude about me taking longer to filling out paperwork. I also was measured incorrectly during my physical exam. The office dog was the only saving grace, but contacting the doctor or office while getting treatment was nearly impossible because they only had an answering machine, and call back protocol.

She's an outstanding provider. She treats the mind, body, and soul of each patient rather than just their diagnosis. This is a great quality to have as a doctor and it makes a huge difference. I would recommend Internal Medicine & Linda to anyone. I was nervous changing providers but switching to Linda is like a breath of fresh air. My old doctor does not even compare to Linda. All of the nurses at this location are excellent as well. Being a nurse myself I always expect for the nurses to be exceptional and at this location they are nothing less than that. I was very happy with my visit and my experience. They also have an online portal that you can sign up for and review all of your labs, appointments, make/change/cancel appointments, request prescription refills, etc. Wicked convenient. Instead of making a thousand phone calls all of the information you need is just a few clicks away. I took away one star because the parking isn't optimal.

I also love the family practice atmosphere of the place. So hard to find these days. Unfortunately I must get past the front desk staff in order to see her. Usually it's the one male that answers the phone and he is rude and unhelpful. I have high deductible insurance because it's the best I can afford currently from my employer. He needs to be more sensitive to people's different insurance situations. You're a front desk worker at a medical practice in America, you should know how this works. Medicine is run by the insurance companies, not the doctors. I can't just pop in there for an appointment every time I have a question because it's $101 each time. I've had the flu and now a sinus infection for 9 days. My daughter was sick for the whole month prior to that. The costs add up. I know when I have a sinus infection. True, self diagnosis isn't ideal but in America, it is all I can afford. It's not like I'm asking for a controlled substance. Anyway, I'm nauseous and coughing and have a fever and I just wanted to talk to the doctor, dude. Not listen to your condescending bs about how she needs to know what she's treating. Come check out the neon yellow snot coming out of the left side of my face. I have a sinus infection. Update: I did receive the antibiotics and they were effective. I also received a nice and very professional email from the doctor that owns the practice. I really do like this practice so in spite of the Front Desk Experience, I'm going to update to 5 stars.
