A really friendly gym which focuses on effective training, functional movement, etc, and is very results based. I love training here, as I seem to have to spend less time than I ever have done at a gym in the past, but am getting better results than I've ever seen! I've used gyms for the past 16 years, and have trained recently at the 'big name' gyms with the bright lights and tvs etc. It's great at Absolute Health to go back to the roots of what a gym should be like, and the attitude of the guys there is great. Never once have I felt uncomfortable, no matter how crazy an exercise I fancy doing at that particular time! Long gone are 45 min sessions on a Cross Trainer, and well-welcomed are mixed varied short workouts which are making me feel great. Whether you take up the option of personal training or not, Ed and his staff are always on hand for advice on training and technique etc. without being patronising etc. It's a 'feel good' place, with a great atmosphere! read more
