Everyone at Heartland Security has been just great and very helpful. The dispatchers at the monitoring centers are so friendly. We have set off the alarm several times. Moments later the phone rings and a pleasant voice ask if everything is OK. When the system is armed and sensor goes off, a phone call is always to the house before local law enforcement officials are called. We spent a lot of time researching security systems. Heartland Security Systems was the nicest, easy to use system we could find. We feel our home is protected against intruders and if the furnace goes out when we are not home, we'll be the first to know!

One of the services we asked for was to get a weekly report of who is turning the alarms off and on. It is now the end of February and we've never received the report. I have contacted them by email and by phone to no avail. This is the third contact I've had with them in a couple of weeks. I asked for one month credit on the account because I hadn't been getting the service I paid for and I was told no, we will send you over a months worth of info now. Not a good business practice!! As for the saddle-valve for the icemaker, it turns out the upper half (business end) of the shutoff stem was lodged in the pipe hole, preventing my hand-held drill bit from entering the hole !!!
