When I learned that a dear friend of mine in Kansas (I am in California) had been transferred to hospice out of nowhere (it seemed to me), I immediately wanted to send something to brighten what would ultimately be her last days. After reading reviews, I found this shop, and sent an email well after hours to explain the situation and the sort of arrangement I was looking for. Nancy responded immediately, which resulted in me asking if she was willing to possibly print an actual letter for me, to send with the arrangement (in addition to the usual card), since there was no time to actually mail anything. Nancy immediately agreed, and so I forwarded my letter, which she assured me she would send on cardstock and have delivered first thing the next morning, and so she did, and she created a gorgeous arrangement for which I probably should've paid 30% to 50% more. My friend was 'asleep' by the next morning when the arrangement was delivered, and could neither see the arrangement nor read the letter that would have otherwise not arrived in time, but her mother read it to her and cried throughout, as reported to me, and it meant everything to her mom and to the rest of the family who also heard/read the letter. Without Nancy, none of this could've happened. My friend died just two days later, but I am comforted knowing that she might have heard that letter being read to her, and that her family still has that arrangement, one which they have already replanted. So - floral skill aside, this shop has a huge heart, and one that made a difference to people I care about, at a time when the only thing left was to let everyone involved know they were - and are - loved.

I call there direct and I believe the owner answered the phone. Explaining my wants and needs was received and understood . The arrangement was delivered that afternoon, to my aunt. She text me the delivery time as well of a photo. I later found out that not only were delivered Ruth walked them in to my aunt's dinner table. Needless to say I was impressed with such good customer service. Well, I called and spoke to Maureen who was very pleasant and had great customer service skills. She was honest and knowledgeable about their business and their current inventory. Their customer service gets a 5 Star review as well...these days, that is a very important variable in any business. Additionally, the owner, Brenda took a picture of the flower arrangement and texted it to me per my request to Maureen! The flower arrangement was BEAUTIFUL and is being delivered on this Valentines Day as I type this very positive review! I will do business again with Heaven Scent Flowers and Tuxedos and I strongly recommend them to anyone looking for this service in Topeka and if you are out of state! I guess that saying "the customer is always right" no longer exists at that store. I purchased a bouquet online from a picture maybe that was my mistake, but the results were less than pleasant. My wife called the store when I told her how much it cost. She was told that try followed the picture on the website So what do I do? I go on the website and get the specs. I ordered the best 16" tall and 13" wide and in a tapered square glass vase. When I called them with that info. First I asked to speak with the manager. I was told they don't really have one. Then I asked to speak with the owner. The lady working said let me help you sir. I explained that I didn't want to speak with an employee I wanted to speak with the owner. She told me forcefully that she could help me. After I gave her the whole story. She then said let me have you talk wit the owner. The owner supposedly made the arrangement. It was made to the specifications in their book. I said that might be the problem. I kept being told that it was made just like the one on the website. They actually put larger sunflowers in it than if was supposed to be. I am confused because they came out looking smaller. They went on to tell me that the round vase they had was the closes to the square vase. With these differences I don't see how it can look just like the one online. Then they told me the width included the lily grass blades that are on the side of the arrangement. You better watch out for that grass it will cost you some serious money. If I include the lily grass it more the doubles the width of the arrangement making it a grand total of 19" wide instead of the 8" width that I received. I told them I was embarrassed to have that arrangement be on the altar. I told them I will never use them and encourage anyone to try someone else as well. Speaking g of other florists Sam's Club make some of the most beautiful arrangements I have ever seen. Only down fall they don't deliver. To sum up. Don't pay Stanley flowers $100 dollars for six sunflowers. Big mistake. Big!

When I called to resolve the issue, the refused to do anything about it. I got berated for not calling them in the first place. "If you would have called us, I would have told you that I am out of tulips." Ironically, to get their number to call I had gone to their website. They were advertising tulips on the front of their site the moment I called! Basically what is happening is they are taking FTD orders, delivering whatever the heck they want, and pocketing the profit. Horrible service, never again.
