My trailer broke down near this business, and unfortunately my experience was very disappointing…read more I was charged approximately $2,000 just for them to bring their equipment out roughly 12 miles, and the invoice listed 21 miles. The repair also took nearly three times longer than the timeframe I was originally given. I was billed for 10 hours of labor, even though the work performed should not have taken that long. If I had access to my tools (which were buried in the trailer), I estimate I could have completed the repair in about five hours myself. Additionally, I was billed for labor related to items that were damaged during the repair process. I had purchased several parts and specifically requested that they be replaced on both sides. Not all parts were replaced as requested, and the unused parts were not returned to me. I picked the trailer up at 10:00 PM, and due to the late hour it was difficult to fully inspect the work at that time. In total, I was charged close to $4,000 for a tire, rim, and hub replacement. Based on the scope of work, I believe the cost was excessive for what was completed. I would not recommend this business based on my experience.

After some minor paint damage happened to my car, I took it to Dacus for an estimate. After insurance processed it, we received a check for $500 less than what the claim had been. I called the insurance company to ask why this was, and they said that Dacus had agreed to do the work for the lower price, so with my deductible and the check they had sent I would be good to go. I called Dacus to schedule to work, however they surprised me: They said they didn't care what they had agreed to with the insurance company, they would be charging me the full price on the original estimate, and probably more, and I would just have to eat what insurance didn't cover. Thankfully, I called my insurance and was able that check voided (it was addressed to the body shop), and found another body shop that agreed to do the work at the price that Dacus had agreed to do it for before they tried to make me pay the original estimate price out of pocket. The insurance company had the documentation that Dacus had agreed to do the work for that lower price, email trail and everything, so Dacus apparently thought they would just agree to the lower price and then get some extra money on top out of me. No thanks.
