I brought my vehicle in for service, drop it off. Than I get quoted a price and free diagnostics. I told them exactly what the car was experiencing. I picked it up next day, got charged an arm and leg, only to realize that when I left, I had a check engine light, I asked them if they drove the car, she stated "they should of" after leaving the shop.... I had a blue smart car I would bring to them. Cindy is the lady I would deal with. She would constantly talk about her cancer, which was OK although I felt like this was perhaps a pity story to tell the customers. Although this has nothing to do with my experience there, you never rubbed me off the wrong way until. My car which I lack to maintain had a blown head gasket. I then took it to them with a $2000 deposit for a new head gasket which they never obtained. I would call twice a month at first, and they would always give me the round around of how they couldn't find one to fit my car. It went on like this for about six months. I had to go to Mexico and when I returned, Cindy said the car was gone and that they tried to reach me although the car was under my brother's name and they had his number as well because he was the one that got me the care package there. They put a lien on my car and sold it. They kept the $2000 and said that that ended up being towards storage. My car also had brand new tires so I had just purchased two months prior to the head gasket. Overall, they are scammers. If I could, I would stand outside with signs, deferring people to come in there. Honestly, they took a lot away from me I believe in karma and may one of them receive it. read more

Front desk will bleed you DRY! Customer beware take your vehicles elsewhere. Im considering filing a lawsuit on this place, let me explain... I have a classic vehicle that im restoring and i rebuilt my motor myself. That being said the only thing i didn't feel comfortable doing on my motor was adjusting my roller rockers and adjusting my carburetor. I know what the process is and how long it takes but i just dont feel confident in doing it. That being said i brought my car to this place for 2 things, adjusting my valves and my carburetor. Sidney at the front desk gave me a quote of a 325 which equated to 2.5 hours. Ok no problem. I dropped my car off Monday afternoon and didn't get it back till FRIDAY AFTERNOON. In that time they had my car, they said they adjusted my valves and carb, and once they did they said it had a rough idle so they wanted a 4 more hours to look check my spark plug firing order. First off, why do you need 4 hours to check my firing order? I can have that done in 30 mins. They then see my firing order was correct so they took it upon themselves to go deeper in my motor to look for the problem before getting my CONSENT to do so. Once they had the top of my motor apart they THEN decide to call me and tell me "we see your why your car was idling rough, it had the wrong style gasket on your intake". She then said she ordered a new gasket, AGAIN WITHOUT MY CONSENT and that would be $28. And since the top of my motor is off, to put everything back together now took the bill from $325 to $873!!! I DIDN'T TELL YOU TO TAKE THE TOP OF MY MOTOR APART!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But wait it theres more... They then spend 2 days putting the top of my motor back together. When it should've taken no more than 2 hours and thats if your slow. I know cause ive taken my motor apart 3 times to do upgrades. After they took their sweet time i call if they car is ready and she told me almost and now the bill went from $325 to $873 to $903!!!! WHHHHYYYYY!!!!!!!!! I was told because SHE (not me) decided to put a thicker gasket on so the gasket went from $28 to $58! I DID NOT SIGN OFF ON THAT!!! THEN, im told before i can come pick it up they wanted to make sure it ran properly, so now i have to wait another day. Finally they day comes for me to pick it up, i called at 10:00 in the morning and im told i cant pick it up now because THEY (not me) ordered a new upper radiator hose because mine had a leak. I DID NOT GIVE THE OK TO DO THAT!!! !!! I said "well it must be free she" she said "no its ONLY $12 and my guys did the labor to put it on and bled the system for $70. So now my bill went from $325 to $873 to $903 TO $985!!!! I told her i have spare radiator hoses and i didn't need you to do that. She said "ok well we can take it off and you can bring yours up here and put it on but we're still charging for the labor" AAAAAHHHH I NEVER TOLD YOU TO DO ANY OF THAT!!!!! I took my car here for 2, two, T-W-O, THINGS AND ENDED UP HAVING A LAUNDRY LIST FULL OF THINGS DONE TO MY CAR I NEVER CONSENTED TO. For the record i don't fault the guys who worked on my car because they are just doing what they're told from the front desk. Sidney in the front was horrible for who she handled everything!!! I will NEVER be back and would give the place a -10 star review if i could. I would advise everyone to stay away. read more

Brought my car in for some repairs. As soon as they knew it would be covered by insurance, thing$ $tarted racking up. You can tell Cindy was very familiar with the $y$tem. Finally got my car back and it had some issues. Brought it back a few times, but they still couldn't fix the issue. Eventually they stop returning my calls. Danny was at a staff meeting or he was on a conference call. Blah, blah, blah. I ended up bringing it to another shop and they figured it out right away. Shouldn't have had to pay out of pocket, but at least it got resolved. Being disappointed is an understatement. Lesson learned. Also, what shop has loose pit bulls running around. My wife found this place to take her Ford Explorer. Dealership rates are out of this world. All mechanics- worth their salt are ASE certified. This business reminds me of my father's business. Very good service at reasonable prices. The place isn't fancy and you have to bring your own latte- but the people are really nice, informative, HONEST, and the mechanics know what they are doing. Family environment. Dogs are running around, snakes hanging out, kids riding bikes, washing cars-by hand (tip well), and people just being friendly. Give it a try! read more

Went to this place to repair the rear ended of my car, they "repaired" it and come to find out about a couple months later the paint starts to bubble and starts to chop and crack at the same spot it was supposed to be "repaired" I tried calling about 5 times and showed about about 2 times and the manager\owner kept dodging me and telling workers he was busy or not there. I hate to do this but I am getting nowhere with Absolute Auto Care. On 7/12/21 my parents went to the shop to pick up their truck and was told before that while doing the repairs they had a small crack on the dash that was created while working on the repair and they attempted to glue it. The crack was multiple with only one being glued along with damage to my glove box and ashtray bracket. My parents were also charged an extra $150.00 that they did return the next day. I went back to the shop with my parents and spoke with Cindy and after going through all the damage she agreed to work something out because she did not want this to represent her shop. Totally understandable so the agreement was she would find a used dash and install it. Along with the agreement we agreed to pay half for the part not labor. I have contacted Cindy and she assured me that the part would be ordered. It's been over two months and Nothing has been done. Yesterday I left a message with their Receptionist with my name and number and was told she will call me back and never did. Due to this service I can not return there in good Conscience for repairs of this truck or for repairs needed on my vehicles or family and friends vehicles. read more

We went to Absolute Automotive utilizing the Groupon offer. We went for a simple oil/filter change. Having a BMW, we even supplied the oil. The receptionist Cindy is very nice. That is about all I can say positive about this place. When we received our vehicle back, there was oily fingerprints on the shift lever and the leather steering wheel. We were very upset (especially my wife, it's her car). She thought it was very unprofessional to present the vehicle back to us in that shape. We went home and detailed the vehicle to get it back to the condition were are accustomed to. Today, when my wife left, I noticed a pool of oil on our garage floor. Her vehicle has never had any leaks on it, so I knew it had to be from the oil change. I call Absolute Automotive and talked to Cindy who told us to bring it in after 1pm. We brought it back and when Cindy was writing the work order, I stated to her about how the vehicle was when we picked it up. She apologized and stated she hadn't had that type of compliant in awhile. After an hour, the vehicle was brought back to us. Cindy had stated that the oil filter reservoir had spilled oil out during the oil/filter change and the technician didn't remove one of the protective plastic pieces under the vehicle and the oil was pooled up in there and that is where the oil leak was coming from. When we returned to the car, my wife was pissed. The steering wheel and shift knob were all grimy again along with the door handle and drivers visor had oily finger prints on it. Honestly, it looks like it was intentionally done. I will NEVER take my vehicle back to them. If you have a vehicle and you want it returned to you in the same shape as you left it (cleanliness wise), don't come here. They screwed up a simple oil change that If I had ramps, I would've done it myself. We are very disappointed in their professionalism or lack of it. Car is full of bondo.They switched my doors. Now my car is not lined up properly. The hood is not flushed, the doors have a gap as well as the windows.Just to state a few issues. I must say that I am absolutely happy with Absolute Auto body service work done on my son's red Mazda 3. He was rear ended with severe damage to the rear left that needed whole new axle, bumper, lights and lots of body work (see attached photo of before & after repairs). I called around asking for quotes and almost all of them quoted an arm and a leg. Some even refused saying it's a done deal (totaled & not worth repairing). Only Danny from Absolute Auto gave a realistic & honest quote over the phone subject to actual diagnostics. His final quote after examining the car was within the original price range quoted. I met Cindy, the office manager who was a very sweet person with a big heart. When she knew I was paying out of pocket since my Insurance declined coverage, Cindy comforted me, offered to help reduce the cost promising a good quality work. I also found out that it was her family run business and Danny was her son etc. I must admit Cindy and her family did keep their promise! The completed work was simply amazing, beyond my expectations. During the repairs process, Danny kept me updated by text messages and photos of work in progress! I thought that was real cool! I want to convey my deepest appreciation to Cindy, Danny, Spencer and entire Absolute Auto team (not forgetting their friendly dogs that kept my son company while waiting) They are my new family , a go to place for all repairs and body work. Absolutely the worst automotive repair facility that I've EVER been to. I purchased a "Repair package" from Groupon that's exclusive to this repair facility so obviously I decided to use it. First Time went ok, it was just an oil & filter change. Second time that I go in it's for an oil & filter change, radiator flush and fill, tire rotation and a tune up. Taking your car to a new repair facility is not an easy thing to do. You have to develop a trust relationship. Very important. So after I get my car home, I noticed that the tired weren't rotated. I called the shop back and the lady that I spoke with said she'll get me in as soon as possible in order to do the service and I'll have top priority in order to get my neglected service taken care of. So I call her that following Monday morning thinking that I would be taken care of right away. She says that she can't fit me in until Friday! What?! You consider a weeks wait for a service that I paid for and you NEGLECTED to provide, top priority? Needless to say I never made the appointment due to a general lack of trust with this automotive repair facility. To top things off, I just found out that the $500 engine cover on my car is cracked like someone tried to force it off. The only engibe service that I've had done is from Absolute Auto. Unfortunately the service was about a month ago and I'm just now noticing the DAMAGE done to my car. Will they admit it? Probably not. Will they make it right? I seriously doubt it. I will NEVER return to this shop. They seem to lack the ability to care or have concern for their customer's vehicles. Truly a shame. read more

I called to schedule an oil change and they were busy for a whole week. That's fine, and honestly didn't bother me at all. If anything it made me feel good, that must mean they're busy doing business. So I showed up for my appointment and apparently it didn't get saved to the calendar. Well, they did the right thing and still managed to fit me in! Everything for the oil change went well and was done in a reasonable time. The staff I talked to were very friendly and easy to get along with. They explained a couple things that I should get done in the future but didn't pressure me to get anything done. Be very careful if you choose to take your vehicle to Absolute Auto Care. The shop is poorly ran by Cindy, the office gal. She seems very nice at first, but as soon as they have your money she's onto the next victim. I took my vehicle to Absolute Auto Care to fix damage caused in an accident as well as some interior work. Instead of fixing the damage the way it was quoted and discussed, they took a shortcut using bondo type fillers and thick cheap paint to attempt to fraudulently rip me off. I paid for structural repairs and was left with a cheap cosmetic only fix that was sloppily done. In addition, the interior was sewn poorly with zigzagging cross-stitching and seats that didn't fit properly. There is many, many more issues with this shop, but I'll spare the rant. I think you get the point here. I've filed a complaint with the BBB (which they claim to be a member of, and they are NOT) and the Bureau of Automotive Repare. I'm not one to publicly thrash someones small business, but I felt compelled to save someone else from being ripped off and having to deal with a mess like the one I'm in. read more

I hope this review does not get filtered, because the folks at Absolute are GREAT! to be honest, I kind of feel like a part of the family now! I have a project 1972 Ford F100 that I brought in for a paint job and I came out with more than I could ever have imagined! After stopping by what felt like every day, I thought they would get annoyed by how many times I wanted to check on the truck's progress, but they welcomed me with open arms and were always very excited to show me the hard work they were putting in. These people--to put in simply--show absolute (no pun intended :) ) PRIDE in their work. After the truck was painted I had new glass put in by Safelite (not a good experience) and Cindy was protecting that truck like it was a child of hers. It just goes to show the respect they have for a customer's vehicle and again the pride they have in what they do. There was always great communication between the shop and I, the customer service was always above and beyond, etc. I just can't say enough good things about these folks. Like I've already said once I just feel like a part of the family and that I could just stop by at anytime just to say hello. If you're looking for fair, affordable, quality work (especially when it comes to a paint job)--this is the place to go. Any classic car enthusiast who are looking for a great new look to their oldy, this is the place to bring it for a nice freshening up! I was a little apprehensive with going here as I heard/read bad reviews, but unfortunately (or I guess, fortunately, now), I bought that oil change thing from Groupon, not realizing it was for Absolute Auto. I haven't had any major problem so far, I went there for 2 oil changes already and a repair. And yes, I check my oil and oil filter before and after I go to them and even if it seems unfair, I've watched enough videos and heard horror stories about oil "changes" on other shops (Did you hear, Jiffy Lube?). I know how and where, because I have 2 other cars that I service myself. The car I bring in to them is bigger and heavier and I don't have the heavy duty tools I need. Cindy was very accommodating, the waiting area is very clean by auto shop standard, and the wait time is not that bad. I've seen her squeeze some desperate customers in, too. There are only two things why they only have 4 stars. They kind of damaged one of the lugs on the wheel of my car, but they replaced it, so no biggie there. And their shop is quite hidden because they are at the back, and their sign is not so big, so if you are new to the area, then you'll be going around several times just looking for that darn sign. I sure did get lost and I live a walking distance from them. Hopefully, I won't encounter the problems some of the commenters here experienced. read more

I had a hood scoop that needed painting before being mounted and they quoted me a decent price considering I was having trouble finding anyone who would do it. They said it wouldn't be a problem and just leave my hood scoop with them and check in if I was done whenever and just come by. Called three weeks later and they hadn't started painting it yet. They thought we didn't do a work order, which we did the day I got my oil changed. I talked to Cindy every time. She told her guys they messed up and my hood scoop was ready that weekend, exactly when I was hoping to get it put on. Was in and out in 30 minutes, roughly the same amount of time my oil change took on my previous visit. Nice waiting area with couches and tv, even a okay area for kids. Cindy and the mechanics know their classic cars. Both visits were great and I might have a new go to auto shop, I'll definitely go again because they know so much about classic cars. To top it off when they put on my hood scoop the exactly for the originally quoted price, I asked about power steering fluid they toped my car of for free and gave me some pointers. This place is hard to find the first time but it's worth it! There are great specials on oil changes via Groupons. Call ASAP to make an appointment for oil changes because they are usually booked at least 6+ weeks out. But the service is excellent and friendly. They have a nice waiting area that even has a little play area for younger kids, free Keurig coffee, and snacks for sale. I definitely recommend this place. This place did an AMAZING job on fixing my mom's truck (I inherited this after she passed away). A flatbed tow truck driver at my job who was not paying attention when backing up and put a large gash into my mom's truck.
