For years, many many years, I have tried the best salons ~ from Center City to New Hope ~ and never had that wonderful feeling of an amazing haircut. I dreaded going every time I needed a trim. Salon Anna Noelle is a beautiful, super clean shop with the most friendly staff. Immediately I felt at ease. The decor is lovely and welcoming. Anna is nothing short of incredible. I showed her a photograph, and Anna knew exactly how to make it work for me. It's not merely a hair style ~ it's a true cut so when recreating the style at home, it falls into place. There's no struggle, no over drying, no bad hair days. When I say Anna is a miracle worker it still doesn't give her justice. Her talents and skill are honestly unbelievable. Thank you Anna!!

I actually came back to the salon about 20 minutes after my appointment because the haircut was uneven, and I told you in person that I hated it. It didn't look like any of the photos I showed you -- I asked for long, blended layers - the length to be 2" below my collarbone, and instead my hair was cut into a much shorter bob. The result is at least 5" shorter than what I requested, and the bottom 3" of my hair is very frizzy from the thinning shears. I never get the bottom of my hair layered nor did the pictures I showed you have that style. You also charged me $240 instead of the $160 I was quoted for root color, highlight touch-up, and a haircut -- a 50% upcharge that you said was for extra product. It doesn't make sense that all three services cost $160, but "extra product" alone cost $90 more. This is not blackmail. I waited months hoping you would make it right, but nothing was done. In the meantime, I've had to spend hundreds of dollars on products and tools trying to manage a haircut I didn't ask for -- one I will now be stuck with for a year while it grows out. My review reflects my honest experience so others know what to expect. I would have gladly refrained from posting a review or updated it if my concerns had been handled professionally.

Before I knew it, she had started a very short haircut! Not only was it very short, but not one of the best cuts that I've had! I have always paid her well (20% tips) and it seemed as if we had a workable relationship in the past so I find it very disappointing that this happened.

Outside of that, the salon itself is great. The stylists do excellent work, the vibe is welcoming, and you can tell they're proud of their craft. First of all they were extremely accommodating about our last minute requests for appointments. Their salon and staff have personality! So much fun and terrific energy. Amber and Alex were amazing. Amber was so patient and did outstanding work with my high maintenance make up requests/preferences. She was happy to change things I didn't like and continued until I felt confident. The person who they recommended never took the time to look at my hair dry. No consultation. Bad bad sign. I asked for a peiced out curtain fringe. Ended up with an old fashioned fringe as thick as a painters brush. I left with a wet head because it was clear she was in a hurry and frankly it's probably best she didn't attempt any advanced techniques because it could have been a disaster. I'll make an appointment at ulta soon and I'm requesting a master cutter. Most photos online of hairstyles are done by master cutters. It's the details that make your hair look great!
