Every morning there are hikes that will push you to work, and have views that are amazing. In the afternoons, you'll have workouts (yoga, dance, TRX, interval training) and massages. The combination of the Bacara resort luxury, the views, the friendly people, and the qualified, trained staff make this a reputable, trustworthy fitness retreat. As soon as they get some of their details straightened out (shifting schedule, order of classes) I will switch to a 5 star rating. I've never done classes like this and was intrigued as I know a few people who go here. I tried four classes with four different instructors and this is what I found. 1. While there is a circuit of machines and equipment to use, each class is different. There are themes to the classes which helps keep things feel fresh. 2. The instructors are seriously so positive and kind. They helped me with the machines and checked on me during each stage. 3. The people who go here are also so nice and supportive. It can be intimidating starting at a new place but I felt welcomed. 4. Sadly, this is not the workout for me but I really think this is a great place for people who want a trainer and enjoy this kind of pace. The classes went by quickly and I definitely felt it a few days after. But alas, not something I see myself doing. Overall, i think this is a great place for every body!
