I was treated like I was an inconvenience rather than a patient seeking care. Even more concerning, my private medical information was discussed within earshot of other patients in the waiting room. That is a serious breach of patient respect and confidentiality. That was deeply disrespectful and completely unacceptable. I work in healthcare myself, and I know how much compassion matters, especially in a women's clinic, where patients deserve to feel safe, supported, and cared for. No one should leave a medical appointment feeling dismissed or like a burden. The provider who treated me was amazing and professional, and I truly appreciate her care. However, the rest of the staff urgently needs to reflect on how they treat patients. Compassion isn't optional in healthcare it's essential. Dr. Lake went to check on my wife two times, broke the water and disappeared. While on labor, my wife asked me to check because she can feel the head of the baby seems to be already out. I was shocked to see that I can already see our baby's head and nobody is even around our room. No nurses, no Dr. Lake. After howling at the nurses at the station, the nurses rushed to prep my wife for delivery. Before they can finish setting up, the baby was already out! Dr. Lake was no where to be found. After everybody was there including the pediatrics team, Dr. Lake finally came. He then stitched my wife without even wearing a gown and NO gloves too! I felt so insulted. He thinks we are just second class citizens he could treat that way. It was a horrible experience we will remember for the rest of our lives. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this very unprofessional and unethical doctor. Dr. Blaine Lake is a name to avoid.

I really enjoy having these providers as my women's health providers, but the schedule half/whole year out appointments are ridiculous. Is this an issue with scheduling or is this an issue with providers ONLY being booked for OB appts? When I had questions regarding why it was so far out in advance to schedule an appt, the staff member rudely stated I should've made my appointment for sooner. I stated, if I would've known the appointments were like this, then obviously I would've scheduled it MUCH sooner. I asked, why would I wait so long to schedule an appt if I was instructed to make it two years later?

I can only tell you that this is not a place you want to select for an expecting mother. First, I will tell you that my initial phone call with her and her office staff was to let them know that I was an expecting mother over 40 years old. I immediately let them know that my age was making me uneasy and that I would like to be seen as soon as possible and seem consistently. There office never even gave me an appointment, I had to call back 3 times to finally schedule something. And once they did, I was never even scheduled to see Dr. Enderton but was instead passed on to her assistant PA. We did and initial appointment and found I was 13 weeks pregnant. I let her assistant know at that time that I had experienced previous birth complications and also my age was something again I was not comfortable with. I was told I would be pushed on to Dr. Enderton by next visit but that visit would not happen till week 16. When my week 16 appointment came, I was again seen by the assistant and not Dr. Enderton. The sonogram machine was down in the office and so we only got a chance to hear the baby's heartbeat. The sonogram machine was finally working at the end of the visit but we only took a 30 second look at the baby and then needed to end the visit because the PA was not feeling well. My next scheduled appointment was at week 20, but because Dr. Enderton was on vacation or unavailability, we had to hold off till Week 21. When week 21 came, the appointment was pushed back again by a few days. During week 21, three days prior to my new appointment with Dr. Enderton, I went to the hospital with stomach pains. I found out within an hour of arrival that I had miscarried. The hell I went through over the next 72 hours is not something I would like to revisit, but during my stay in the hospital, the hospital staff tried several times to contact Dr. Enderton and her staff but could not get a response. 3 days of trying and finally they were able to speak to someone to let them know the situation and see if they could get the most recent sonogram for surgery purposes. The week 16 sonogram was never saved nor any record of it. To add injury to insult, after the tragedy I had just endured, and the healing I was going through both emotionally and physically, I got a call from Dr. Enderton's office asking if they could push my ultrasound back again a few more days. The audacity of that call and the arrogance to not realize that I no longer was pregnant was beyond words. The date they were giving me was going to put my next sonogram at week 22 nearly week 23. I write this to warn people that this is not the office for an expecting mother. People will say there is never a clear reason why mothers have a miscarriage and I will never know why this happened to me. I will say that the negligence on the behalf of this office may have easily played a role. I know that these events are sometimes preventable, with avid and consistent checkups. But Dr. Enderton never even met me, she never stopped by, she never called, she never did an exam, she never did a sonogram, and made me wait weeks upon weeks to be seen. I was pregnant, and now I am not. I did so much to take care of my self and my body because I knew my age may play a factor. Yet, in the end it was not enough because the irregular checkups and gaps between checking if I was even okay were too much and now I have to live with something that may have been preventable.

I'm currently in a manual wheel chair with a smart drive--and every time I hit a bump outside in it, I was getting dumped out, unceremoniously, into the street whIpsy taking my wee dog out for walk. This was happening about 3-5 times a week and when my physical therapist (Drew Branch: he's awesome) heard about it, he did some kind of magic and now I'll be getting a brand new, safe, appropriate-for-my-needs wheel chair! I've got significant damage to my arms from falling, and I'm looking at serious neck surgery. I really can't manage any more damage to myself. Whatever your need, in my experience, Compassionate Care looks at you as a whole person and not just another check to be marked off. I'm so grateful for the excellent care and support I'm receiving. Initially I had no issue with Dr. Soloniuk-Tays (despite hearing horror stories) I never had any prior issues & thought she was great at addressing my needs. Brenda Kent was my absolute favorite, kind & COMPASSIONATE, always listened & patient (sadly she retired). Since Brenda retired this place just seems to be falling apart. I've experienced so many issues with them never answering the phone (if you are a patient I know you can relate). Their voicemail is always full & they seem to be having a revolving door of new staff (I'm sure that there's a reason they can't keep their staff). I stopped feeling heard & felt like visits turned rushed & like I was just another insurance claim for them to bill. I recently had the worst experience I have ever had with any "professional" establishment. I still can't believe the way their staff (office manager, front office staff, & Dr. Soloniuk-Tays) treated me as I am dealing with a stress-related disorder & post-partum depression. They were extremely rude, unprofessional, & HEARTLESS (anything but COMPASSIONATE). They tried to say I was confrontational for simply trying to explain to them what I needed and because I called them out on a mistake THEY made & refused to take accountability for. Dr. Soloniuk-Tays straight up told me there was no diagnosis or documentation of a diagnosis I was given by her staff & they "lost" copies of important documents I needed. She was so condescending & rude, trying to belittle me. They had the nerve to laugh at my face as I explained to them how I was at a vulnerable time in my life dealing with some horrible medical challenges with my son and my own mental health as I was dealing with their cruel behavior towards me. NOT COMPASSIONATE as they claim to be & I honestly felt discriminated at that. I've spoken to several people who confirm that these facts are in fact true about this place & their staff & I advise you to leave now & don't stick around because you are just not wanting to start over with someone else (like I was). There is good doctors & good people still out there it goes back to simple human decency & empathy more than anything & I feel bad for all their patients specially all the elderly ones they treat hopefully they can advocate out for themselves & leave asap if they're also experiencing issues. I will pray for these staff members & this place because I am not EVIL like they are and I hope that things get better for them because their patients deserve the best possible care
