It was cheap (£7) and I got what I paid for, well actually I didn't, it was overpriced by £6.50. I'm going to go to a proper salon in town on Monday and hope they can rescue it somehow so in the end it will have cost me more than if I'd gone somewhere decent in the first place. Since I have moved to Cardiff I have continuously gone to different barbers to try and find one that is cheapish and gives me a decent haircut. This place isn't bad at all actually and despite my worries of it being expensive with the word 'Design' in it, they cut this mans hair for a decent price. It's actually grown in really nice and shall hopefully last me a bit longer than it usually does thanks to this. The hairdresser herself was lovely and the normal awkward small chat fairly pleasant. I can't say for you girls out there about what they can do but from my own experience it's defiantly worth a try.

The service, from phoning up to leaving with a lighter head, was extremely friendly and professional. Although I arrived early, I was swiftly seen to and presented with tea. The girl who washed my hair did an amazing scalp massage, second only to The Legendary Scalp Massage I experienced once in New Zealand. The lady who cut my hair was very jovial, and involved me thoroughly in the haircutting process, which is always very important. Every stage of the way, she checked it was what I wanted, and that she had it right. When I went, there were more staff than customers, and there were two trainee girls who had clearly been told to watch my haircut take place. Although they spent most of the time hovering over my shoulder in the mirror, the experience was not uncomfortable. In fact, I felt a little like I was taking part in Crufts. But they were polite and smiley enough. And all for £20, there were certainly no complaints from me.
