The antique radio played country music as I wandered through the many rooms of antiques here. I saw antiques, mounted deer heads with jewelry on it, collectibles, handmade soaps, locally made jams, plants and much more. I did buy a small plant here in a rollerskate shaped pot. There are goats and a donkey here but you can only look at them. There were signs posted to not pet or feed the animals.

There is a large main building but a few other offshoots full of treasures. This is a mix of vintage booths with outdoor items - including plants - some homemade jams and local products of all sorts. Prices seem pretty on par for vintage items and good for the plants. I loved the outdoor spots with the plant holders and unique garden tables. They also have animals - goats, chickens, etc - that you can visit. We went on a random day off over the holidays and they had a food truck so that could be a regular thing but I'm unaware. If it's chilly outside, take a jacket, this is partially outside so you won't get heat the whole way through. Will be back for more treasure hunting.

I love this little antique store! So much to see and it always brings back fond childhood memories…read more The Treehouse Antiques is one of my first stops to take mom when she is visiting. She loves this place and usually finds several items to purchase while shopping. On my most recent visit I found a Corning Ware Coffee Pot ($89.95). It's probably the only piece she doesn't have in the set but she said she could get it cheaper; my mom, she loves to wheel and deal. She said "I got the tea pot though." I have to admit this place is packed full of stuff and can be a tight squeeze through the isles when its busy and can feel somewhat claustrophobic at times but its still worth the stop when shopping in downtown Sanford. I noticed since my last visit, it has become a bit more cluttered in here, one of the isles was packed with so much stuff you couldn't walk down it; work in progress, I guess? Some highlights on this visit were the collection of beautifully decorated music boxes, the Vaseline and Amber Nilotus Glass, the variety of vintage glass and stained-glass lamps, Corning Ware items, the glass fuel lamps, vintage clothing - blazers and hats, the variety of wall art, jewelry, watches, pocket knives, the Flea World shopping bags, and so much more. Staff here are always friendly and helpful; pricing is moderate to high in my opinion. My only complaint is that it can feel crowded in here especially when its busy and it can be a major problem if you're with someone who has a disability, there is literally no way you can get in here with a wheel chair or walker. Other than that, I highly recommend shopping here while visiting Sanford.

Four stars because of it was hot in there and two the place has so much stuff it's hard to see everything when it's not to organized. I like supporting local business so if I find something interesting I will buy it from here, also This business has a second floor with more stuff. They even have some kid toys here.

If you're in the Oviedo area and looking for a fun and unique shopping experience, be sure to visit…read moreThe Coop Antiques. I recommend setting aside at least 45 minutes to an hour to explore--there's so much to see, and they even have restrooms available for customers so you can take your time. The shop features a wide range of vintage and antique items from multiple vendors. Some standouts include a stunning Hand-Carved Carousel Rocking Horse ($2,495), a rare 1880s Wm. L. Gilbert Clock Co. calendar clock ($1,250), an Italian Baroque Secretary ($695), and an Antique Wooden Butter Churn ($375). I also spotted a beautiful 55-piece Harkers Petit Point set ($95), hand-made necklaces ($25-$65), vintage Christmas ornaments, a working vintage pump organ ($175), and a large collection of antique train sets. There's far too much to cover, so trust me when I say--this place is a must-see. The staff here are exceptionally friendly and went out of their way to wrap up my mom's purchases for her flight home. The store is immaculately clean, with well-organized booths and aisles, making it easy to navigate. While most items are easy to spot, be sure to check under shelves and in hidden corners for more treasures; I found several instruments in their original cases tucked away in one booth. For music lovers, there's a booth with a solid selection of rock CDs in like-new condition for just $10 each. Book enthusiasts will appreciate the vintage collections available, like Edgar Allan Poe's Poems and Tales from 1898 ($60) and an older edition of A Christmas Carol ($30), many of which are behind glass cases and require assistance to view. I also found two music books that were great deals: Fun Folk & Frolic Songs for Piano ($2) and John Philip Sousa's Favorite March Book for Bass ($4)--both of which I'm excited to use for practicing music. Pricing varies by item and vendor. Some pieces are reasonably priced, while others are on the pricier side. Each seller has a booth number, and if they're not on-site, the staff will help you contact them for potential price negotiations. However, most prices seem firm, though it never hurts to ask. Whether you're a local or just visiting, The Coop Antiques is a hidden gem that offers something for everyone. I highly recommend stopping by to explore and find something special.

It isn't a big location but there is quite a lot inside. They have some items that you can find online and other items that are made by local artists. I would say the pricing is a little higher but not too unaffordable. I found a gorgeous gothic lace sleeve piece that I found online for $3 less. I would rather support locally so I had no problem paying a little more. The staff was friendly and helped take photos of my family and zi around their coffin. I'm not sure if the coffin is always there or just there for the anniversary, but it was a fun photo spot. If you're in the area or looking for a place to get some Goth or spooky gear, I highly recommend checking this place out. They also have coffee so you can get your caffeine fix while here too. You can even try on the clothing in the bathroom where they have a cool coffin mirror.

We were greeted upon arrival and checked on while perusing the isles. At first glance, the store seemed a bit small, which turned out to be incorrect; however, even though they had a good many things, including a very pretty wash basin and vanity desk, the place also served as a sort of boutique with lotions, soaps and other items to delight their older customers. As serious antique customers, we prefer real antique stores and unfortunately did not find that had to have item. I think it says something when the customer, after walking a third of the store, starts looking up other antique stores to visit next. It was worth stopping by; however, we will not be adding Wirewood Market to our favorites list for yearly trips.

There is a decent selection of unique and beautiful hand-made jewelry, vintage tools, gauges, and workshop style equipment available as well. The staff here are welcoming and friendly. Pricing is fair, although some items such as vintage Santa and Elf figurines were priced higher here than other local thrift shops in the area. There is a restroom available to customers who shop here. I didn't purchase anything today, but my mom found a bunch of stuff. She was ecstatic to find three Putz Houses (Paper Houses) that she had to buy. Two were selling for $12.95 each and the other for $4.95. The staff were great and gently wrapped all of my mom's items to protect them for the trip back to NY. The store is immaculate and decorated beautifully, we easily spent 45-mn to an hour here. They also have a little coffee station available for customers shopping here and the coffee is very good. There is a lot to see here and if you know anyone who owns a log cabin or cottage, bring them with you because they will be in heaven! I highly recommend stopping here if you happen to be shopping in the area. I know it won't be our last time shopping here.
