We first went through the…read moreimmigration process for my husband, and after his case was complete, we began the process for my oldest stepson. Now, we have just completed the process for my other two stepchildren. I would never trust anyone else with something I hold so close to my heart. My husband first came here in 2009, and until today, he had only been able to see his children twice. Considering the weight of this situation and what it means for us to finally be united again, it truly cannot be put into words. We just completed the interview process today, and I can't tell you how many people were turned away due to poor organization, missing documentation, or other issues. We are so grateful to have been blessed with a team that takes the time, care, and respect to support every single one of their clients. I can't even imagine what this process would have looked like without a team we could trust as deeply as we trust Ruby and Powers Law Group. The best way I can describe how we feel about them is that it's like a child with a security blanket. We feel vulnerable and uncertain going into this process because, as regular people navigating the immigration system, we don't have the knowledge or experience--and we know how grueling it can be. But knowing we can have childlike faith in Powers Law Group, and rely on their experience and expertise, is truly incomparable. We can simply follow their lead, knowing they take special time and care with each case, ensuring you are informed and prepared every step of the way. Thank God that today our last two children were approved, and now all we await is the visa issuance. Our spirits can finally rest as we wait for the moment we are reunited. We are endlessly grateful to Ruby and Powers Law Group for setting the standard for exceptional service and expertise.

His dedication, knowledge, and compassion made all the difference during a very stressful time. Thanks to his hard work, my life has completely changed for the better. I haven't received my new work permit and was worried I'd also lose my job. Mr.Reyes listened to everything my husband and I had to say, he took the time to explain to me all the possibilities of what could happen next and what I could do to ensure I kept my job. By the way, it was around 5 when spoke to him and I thought we would be rushed since his office closes at 5:30 but that was definitely not the case. He was very knowledgeable and sincere.

I strongly warn anyone considering a lawyer for a contested divorce: avoid Ann E. Kennedy & her…read morefirm at all costs if you don't want to endure heartbreak, frustration, & lifelong damage like I have since 2022.I hired Ann under the assumption she would act with integrity & professionalism, regardless of my being a Black immigrant woman. Instead, she treated me as an afterthought & completely failed to protect me. The most shocking example was during mediation. Instead of representing me, Ann sent an unqualified, clueless young man who wasn't even a paralegal. He sat there lost, unable to answer the mediator's questions, leaving me vulnerable & alone against my ex-husband & his lawyer. When Ann finally showed up, she chatted casually with the mediator, explained she had another mediation at the same time, then disappeared again. I was left defenseless, forced to accept whatever my ex wanted, despite paying Ann to fight for me. Worse, the mediation agreements were never accurately included in the final divorce decree. My ex had agreed to take on two specific debts, but due to Ann's gross negligence, they were left out. When I asked her to fix this, she arrogantly told me it was too late & demanded more money to file a new case--for her own mistake! Because those debts stayed on my credit, I have suffered devastating consequences: ruined credit, 22-30 missed payments reported, & multiple mortgage & rental denials. I reached out to creditors & credit bureaus, but without proper documentation, they dismissed me as lying. My dreams of homeownership are shattered, and I live with ongoing emotional & financial pain. Ann then had the audacity to bill me further, including charges for the incompetent stand-in she sent. I refused to pay & still await her to sue me so I can expose her fully. I question daily: would she have treated a white woman the same? Ann's discrimination & negligence destroyed my life. If she wants payment, she must first fix my credit, compensate me for years of damage & make amends for the suffering she caused. Please learn from my tragedy. Find a lawyer who values your humanity & rights. Ann E. Kennedy was the architect of my downfall--not an advocate, but a betrayer of trust. Ann literally protected the interests of my Ex because he is white like her, and she shot me in the heart because I am black. Otherwise, why remove (whether intentionally or by error) the only 2 major liabilities my Ex himself agreed to pay (because they're his anyways) from the final divorce decree documents? DEAR READER, PROTECT YOURSELF AND YOUR MENTAL HEALTH BY AVOIDING ANN E. KENNEDY AND HER LAW FIRM AT ALL COSTS.
