Dr. Alex Koenig is a remarkable doctor! He is patient,…read morecaring and provides sound advice as he practices physical therapy! I highly reccommend him! In January 2021 , I came to him in great pain with a meniscus tear in my left knee. He provided an excercise regimen that i followed regularly. With a desire to heal and motivation from Dr. Koenig, I recovered!!! I am so grateful for his care and expertise! He is a true healer! Helen

I came for my most recent ACL and Meniscus tear and let me say, THANKFULLY I found Erica, Jackie, Eleni, Clarissa and the rest of the team at Ivy Rehab when I did. I heard they were the "Knee Queens" and they did NOT disappoint. My first call to them was on a Sunday and my voicemail was returned by Erica within 20 minutes. We scheduled my first evaluation before I even had my surgery and she knew exactly how to handle my injury since she's seen it a million times (I've heard she actually goes to watch the occasional surgery to stay on top of trends and how to best work with her post-op patients) My "pre-hab" went so smoothly that I was actually able to (carefully) get back to shooting around in the gym before my surgery. The surgery went well and I was back at Ivy within a week (I have to mention that going back was a treat since these ladies are so much fun to be around, despite all the hypothetical butt-kicking) My first time walking after surgery was with Richa which she sent video of to a group chat with Erica and Jackie. The support I received from this team is unlike anything I thought I'd ever experience based on my previous therapy experience. I will continue to recommend this group to anyone I come across and already made sure they are in-network with my new insurance provider so I'll always have them in my back pocket. I'll sum this up by saying "Thank you" to everyone I had the pleasure of working with during my recovery. It was because of you I was able to ring the "I Did It" bell far sooner than even my surgeon expected.

There was little to no communication between providers regarding my progress or prior sessions. As a result, I often felt like I had to manage my own treatment, including adjusting weights on my own. The PT assistant rarely set up equipment or monitored my exercises as I later discovered, after switching to another facility, that my form had been incorrect for several exercises. I also felt that my concerns were not taken seriously. Despite explaining my symptoms, the treatment approach, particularly the manual manipulation, never changed and did not provide relief. After three months, I feel that my time here was largely unproductive. The only positive outcome is that I ultimately found a different physical therapist who has been far more effective, which confirmed that my experience at this location could have been much better. There are many PT locations to choose from in the area. If you are serious about making meaningful progress, I would not recommend wasting your time here.

Let me tell you it's not a joke to lift a chair when my balance is off, when I can't walk without a limp post a major knee surgery You need a balance pad? Don't worry you can limp your way to it, bend (but wait you can't even bend), and limp your way back to the table because why should we as patients be offered the dignity of help. Somehow the assistant also stopped giving me hearing pad before. No one gives a damn about my recovery, not a single person. There is no plan! They don't even have the equipment to measure quad strength... No hamstring curl machine. No leg extension machine. No hex bar for squats because my MD orthopedic surgeon must be out of his mind to have that in his protocol since the PT suggested oh we don't need it, glad to know an MD degree is useless for a doctors protocol to be ignored. You need help from an assistant? You better ask because even if there's just you and one other patient, and they see you struggling, they will not just NOT help. They will see you, they will ignore you. That's ok, if I fall it's on them. If I injure myself, its on them. After 26 sessions, it's not a joke. Maybe time for me to find a new PT place? Who actually values me as a patient and as a human being. Having said that, I love Brianna she's amazing, intuitive.
