I was so impressed with Manny an his level of service! I had high hopes given all the hype from the reviews and he easily lived up and surpassed it. He was super quick to answer emails, no hassle to book or reschedule, showed up on time and was extremely kind. We bought a dresser/change table that on be box says I takes 2 hours for 2 people to put together. All reviews online said it took more like 4-5 hours. With me being pregnant and all, we decided to hire someone because the 4-5 hours would be just too much stress. We have never hired a handy man to do these types of furniture since I actually quite enjoy doing it. Because it was just him, I thought maybe he'd take 2-3 hours if he as super fast but he did the whole thing in under 1 hour!!! I couldn't believe when he told me it was done! He gathered all the garbage together and left it super tidy. I'd definitely recommend his service! read more

Able Furniture Assembly - Handyman Near Me

Manny answered my email inquiry right away and came the next day - on Father's Day! He assembled my four tricky dining room chairs, saving me stress and time and even cleaned up afterwards. I highly recommend Able - professional, polite and friendly, and I thought his fee was really great for the extra time he spent. read more

Manny was amazing and fast!! Excellent rates and quick to reply. Highly recommended. I will definitely use him again.

look in the mirror, be honest: you are not someone who can assemble furniture without going insane. SO GET THESE GUYS INSTEAD. FOR THEY ARE EXCELLENT. Manny and his co-worker built an L-shaped Ikea Pax (with the new Ikea corner wardrobe) in my loft. organized + efficient (folded all the boxes as they finished using them -- way easy for me to haul to the recycling depot), and advised about my sloping hardwood floor, while making adjustments along the way. plus: timely communication and really, something has to be said for Just Being Nice Guys. will hire again, dudes are totally pro. read more

Able Furniture Assembly - Manny built this 6-door L-shaped Ikea PAX - Handyman Near Me

Manny and his team deserve a solid 5 star. Very easy to deal with. Always response to the inquiry in a prompt manner. I had Manny's service in 3 occasions. First time was to have my IKEA PAX wardrobe assembled, second time was to have the PAX dismantled due to a move; and the 3rd time was to have the PAX re-assembled. And I would confirm that the level of services are consistently great. The quality of workmanship is outstanding. Manny is always on time in his appointments. And I would recommend Manny and his team to anyone who is looking for professional assembly services for all types of furniture. read more

We ordered a number of pieces of furniture from Wayfair and asked for an estimate. Received a prompt reply and very reasonable estimate. They came on time and assembled everything within the time they estimated which was 4 hours, leaving behind the care manual and any extra screws/pieces neatly by the assembled furniture. Saved us a whole lot of time and headache if we tried to do the assembly on our own. My husband and I are very happy with their service and our decision to use them. read more

Manny was great! Reasonably priced, efficient in time and assembly. He made life so much easier! I have no problems to recommend him and am much happier knowing I have someone who can assemble Ikea furniture for me in the future! read more

He is fantastic. Priced well. Easy to communicate with. He's the only guy I use for IKEA furniture

Used Manny again, and once more, I was not disappointed. Very polite and professional. I am consistently happy with his work. 100% recommend. read more

I hate buying things from Ikea, because of the assembly required. So, when our best options for new wardrobes and office furniture was from Ikea - I was dreading the day(s) of assembly I would need to do - there were 33 boxes in the first delivery and 7 in the second. Two gentlemen showed up, Manny and his partner. They were polite, professional, and quick; and there cost was very reasonable. Definitely worth it., and highly recommended. read more

I returned to Yelp just so I can review how wonderful Mani was with the TV unit install. Fast response and even faster skills when it comes to assembling a TV unit. Mani was prompt, polite and efficient. Highly recommended!! He was also able to fit me in with one day's notice which I truly appreciate. read more

If you love Ikea stuff but hate putting it together, or if you hate Ikea stuff and hate putting it together, or if you simply cannot be bothered to assemble this stuff yourself I highly recommend Mani. He is quick, careful, and genuine. I used to love Ikea, until we had to actually buy stuff for our place and then my attitude towards Ikea slowly changed.... lol If we had to assemble this stuff ourselves after doing a move in 2 days I think we would have had to break up. I found Mani through Yelp and contacted him for a quote. He breaks things down into either hourly labour or flat rates depending on your product. He's super familiar with Ikea products so if you just list off the product family name he will know what you are talking about (even if you don't!) His prices are great and you can just tell he's a hard worker. Even my mom was impressed and nothing impresses her We bought a Besta TV storage system, a Pax wardrobe system, the Algot closet system, and a lack shelf that we had Mani put up. I am so grateful to have found him (Thanks Yelp!) Seriously it saved us so much time, headache, and bickering - so that thing they say about testing your relationship with Ikea furniture assembly....... F that just call Mani trust me your'e only doing yourself a favour. read more

Manny from Able Furniture is off the charts unbelievable. Manny and his coworker was everything you could ask for: professional, hard working, and courteous, but so much more. I'd never ever use anyone else if Manny can get it done. He has elevated the furniture assembly process to an art form. I was so inspired by how hard he works and at the same time, how unaffected he was by the end of a tedious eight hour day. He was still kind, pleasant and humble and kept his sense of humour. There is something very graceful about the way he works. He has good vibes and the best attitude I've come across in a long time. Manny is a class act so he gets 5+ stars, a standing ovation, and my gratitude for a job well done. I couldn't have dreamt of a better experience. read more

Basically a repeat what the other review stated... Fast, reliable and unbelievable hard workers. They came in and knew every piece and where it went and didn't need to waste time reading over instructions. I usually have a handful of screws left over and scratching my head trying to figure out where they were supposed to go.. I highly recommend Manny read more

Manny was fantastic. Came in the evening to accommodate my schedule, and helped assemble an IKEA TV unit that I and my friends couldn't crack. It had been sitting for almost a year and had some minor damage, but Manny made short work of it. Was so relieved and grateful, and he was very friendly and gracious. Really can't recommend enough. read more

Bought the tall Pax wardrobe and had no desire whatsoever to put it together even though my brother in law tried to convince me that it would be fun and give us a sense of accomplishment.... I have back problems so the idea of even lifting the heavy pieces of the frame up were not appealing to me. My gf found Manni on yelp and got a quote we also got some other things assembled and installed as well. He is so professional and diligent we had an appointment for 330pm and there were a bunch of other small projects that we decided to use his services for and he stayed until 830 pm to finish everything. Based on character and work ethic alone I'd recommend these guys to you. They do everything from home Depot, ikea, Canadian tire, Rona, etc. For us projects included a Besta TV storage/media unit installed into the wall, setting up an algot system for our guest closet and putting up a lack spine shelf in our bedroom We got a quote from some other assembly company and they took forever to respond and their price was ridiculously expensive. We will be asking Manni and crew to come back for a few more projects read more

Manny delivered as promised. Good quality work and reasonable prices. I would recommend and use his services again.

Manny was professional and punctual. I will be hiring him for any future furniture assembly needs. Price was excellent and although he was there to assemble a 6 drawer dresser he also fixed a nightstand I had assembled poorly without asking. I would highly recommend. read more

NOT EXAGGERATING: You cannot read the instructions faster than Manny can put it together. Manny (and sometimes his brother) have come out on three separate occasions to assemble furniture for us. Each time, he/they have put together pieces in lightening time... a sofa bed, a sectional sofa, a desk, 3 wardrobes, a chest, 2 toy cabinets, 2 vanities all done to a professional standard. Beyond their assembly efficiency, they respond to requests within a day, show up on time, leave no mess and are very courteous/polite. Simply put, hire these guys. And one more thing... I honestly think Manny undercharges so tip generously!! read more

All the 5 star reviews say it all--Manny is THE BEST. I requested a quote and received a thorough and clear response within 3 hours. I was very pleased he could accommodate my schedule so soon and on a weekend. He arrived on time with a helper and both were pleasant, clean, and respectful of my property. Manny was extremely knowledgeable, skillful, and efficient in putting together two IKEA PAX doorless wardrobe frames. Everything was carefully moved into place, aligned, and adjusted for slope in my floor. They tidied up and the packaging was flattened and folded for disposal. The rate was very reasonable and I can't say enough good things about my experience. Very professional. It was a 1 hour job that would have taken me much longer. It saved me from struggling with it myself and allowed me to spend the rest of the weekend productively organizing. read more

Top notch, professional and respectful. I ordered a bunch of Ikea stuff and Manny was able to assemble it in no time. I would hire Manny and his team again without a doubt. read more
