PLEASE READ THIS IF YOU'RE CONSIDERING GOING WITH ABLE BAIL BONDS!!! A few months ago, a good friend of mine went to ABLE for help. Everything was fine... until... the bondsman found out that my friend had not appeared for a court date. He didn't bother to find out any more information in the matter; such as the fact that this 'court date' was not one that he was required to attend. His attorney was present. So, despite the fact that they had NO evidence or even a plausible reason to suspect that my friend was going to skip town or even skip a payment, three men from ABLE decided to go to his home. He wasn't there. They called him up making all sorts of threats to his home and property AND they held an innocent girl (a friend who stopped by at the wrong time) at gunpoint as "collateral" until he got home. He lives in this house with his girlfriend and his 2 small children. Luckily, none of them were there. These men were outside his house when they called my friend and, in the time it took him to get over there, they had stolen 2 of their cars, all of their electronics, jewelry... EVERYTHING of value, and practically destroyed what was left... even the babies' things. AND, they did it all while the cops watched! They never once tried to find out if there was good reason for him to have not been in court that day. They never tried to contact him to see if they had cause for concern or even to warn him that this might happen if he screwed them... WHICH HE DIDN'T. What they did was dirty, reprehensible, unjustified and completely inexcusable. It is obvious that they think themselves above the law. In reality, these people are scumbags. They are the dregs of society. I bet each one of their 'criminal' clients possesses more human decency and conscience than all of these creeps put together will ever possess. These guys are unethical, unprofessional and unworthy of your business. And, I hope to see them all unemployed soon. Go to someone else. read more
