I use the tattoo side of the business but Lisa has used the piercing aspect to the studio and was very well looked after. You'll find Acreedo on facebook and many customers use that as their choice of communication tool but I prefer just to pop in and talk to them. They are out to get every penny out of you and they don't care how they get it. If you are thinking of a bespoke tattoo, forget it. If you ask, they will respond to emails rarely, and never do work up front. They do it when you go in for your tattoo and this eats into your tattoo time, because speed is not one of their attributes! The tattoos are done back-to-back. Therefore, your appointment will be rarely on time and then they will expect you to pay for the cleaning and setting up for your tattoo, as this is considered part of 'your price', not the actual time being tattooed. There are no several floors as Nick purported. There is not a positive attitude, no touch screen media and they are not customer focus. I was booked in for three hours at £70 /hr for 3 hours. They started an hour late and when I refused to pay £210 for 2 hours, 'Bella' got beligerant. It was then reduced to £80 an hour and I stated that I would pay £70 p/h as agreed and no more. It was also suggested that as I only had two hours it was an extra cost, and this was through no fault of mine!!! You may be thinking I am writing this because they tried to rip me off and you would be correct. I have spent over £1500.00 with Pawel, who is the best tattooist in Abingdon without a doubt. He is the only reason I go there, but I won't be going there again. Without him, this shop would close. The owner, Colin, has trouble smiling and his work is lack lustre and average. His standard depends on his mood and can be very bad. Keep away from him. They have just introduced a waiver to cover bad workmanship etc, which says everything. However, it wouldn't hold up in court. Do not use, so many have been disappointed with the tattoo's, expects for Pawels.

Their shop is located just opposite Iceland, opening times tend to be from 10-6 on most days. Inside, the shop is simply decorated with a desk and a couch at the front and a piercing and tattoo area at the back, both are separated with a black glossy wall reaching to your hips. I went in last week to get a double helix piercing and honestly, they were so helpful, the piercer i had made the two dots on my ear and was very calm when I kept changing my mind. She made sure to show me that the needles (they don't work with guns AT ALL) and the earrings were all brand new, the piercing procedure was straight forward, with it hurting more when the jewellery went in than the needle, all in all it was great, I received a sheet on piercing aftercare which I already knew but it was nice to be provided with the information, she made sure to let me know that I can come back in anytime if I need help and I could also call as well. They are fantastic and I would definitely consider going back there for any other piercings. At £15 each, it was a bargain, would recommend them to anyone I know

They sell a variety of goth/alternative clothes, shoes, jewellery, accessories, hair dye, and other trinkets and miscellanies. The stuff here is often slightly overpriced. By that I mean, you could find most of their stock online at a discount: I've seen shoes here for £40 that I bought for less than £20 on the internet. This applies to pretty much anything you can find in the store, but I can't fault them for it. The advantage to shopping at Tiger Lily of course is the instant gratification of not having to wait a week to get that tub of Manic Panic in the mail, or actually being able to try the damn shoes on before you buy them (curse your strange sizes, Iron Fist...). The guys behind the counter seem pretty friendly and chill... Also, you can get pierced or tattooed here. I've seen a few dubious comments online about the quality of the tattoo artist(s) and their policies, so I would proceed with caution. That said, Tiger Lily is definitely a fun shop and worth checking out.
