A bunch of my co-workers told me I HAD to call Marshall Feldman to get a VA home loan. We worked…read morewith Marshall and Rebecca and we couldn't have asked for a better loan team! They were so communicative during the whole process and they were always friendly and happy to answer our silly first-time home buyer questions. Marshall was great about showing us different loan scenarios during each stage of the process and helping us pick the right one. Would recommend 110%

Bought my 6th house using First Home Mortgage Rick Kublank team at the URGE of my real estate…read moreagent. I was not impressed from the get go so I reached out to a VA specialist in another state. When we put an offer on our house and it was accepted, my agent sent all paperwork to Rick and his team. I regret that decision every day. The service through the teams lack of communication, organization, and VA skills made it a very painful process. They did not communicate well so I had to send the same documents to different ppl on the same team. I got ao frustrated, i ended up putting them all on email copy to tell them it is their job to share docs and to communication. They dragged their feet scheduling a VA appraisal- if you use VA you understand the relevance of a timing VA scheduling. They had me emailing around documents instead of using the portal. And in the end, they didn't account for our homeowners insurance in their closing numbers. I thought it was paid until I got a letter of cancellation. We had to pay out od pocket. Truly one of the most stressful closings Ive ever had because of their lack of professionalism during what is already a stressful time. There are much better companies.

She was always available for any questions. We even reached out to her over the weekends. She was always very responsive. She always kept a positive attitude, and it was such a pleasure to do business with her! We, of course, were approved of our loan. I am glad we chose this mortgage company and would recommend it to my friends who may be interested in purchasing a new home. Thank you, Pat, for helping this process run smoothly.

We can't say enough about Bill Jeffreys and his Team at Bay Capital Mortgage and their attention to…read moredetail and quick response to all our needs. Bill responded immediately to our inquiry about a possible mortgage with him; he quickly worked up a loan estimate that included the estimated escrow and estimated taxes, insurance and assessments. He was very accurate in estimating the loan costs. He then offered, without our asking, an alternate estimate based on a higher down payment that eliminated the need for "PMI" Mortgage Insurance. PMI is not a benefit to the homeowner so its elimination was appreciated. During the closing process his Team helped us coordinate all the documents that were needed, and the final process wrapped up without a hitch which was super important to us as we were moving from NH to Maryland and were in transit during those final hours and they were in touch with us every step of the way. Bill also followed up this week, one month after our closing, with an application form for a Homestead Tax Credit, and even included a stamped return envelope for us to get that into the mail quickly. We will definitely recommend Bill over and over again.

I couldn't write enough good things about Chesapeake Financial Planning. I have been using them for…read moreover 15 years at least. My parents, uncle and aunt, cousins and brother uses them as well. They have moved from College Parkway to their new location which is much easier to access from RT 50 near the "Red Hot and Blue". I also love the Highs gas station nearby, but that's another story. :) They are great for quick and easy tax preparation, financial consulting, IRAs, 401K rollovers, etc... I can handle doctors, dentists, needles and even surgery, but financial advisors give me the willies. However, CFP and especially Julie, made me feel so much better and I finally feel as if I'm in control. It's really worth making an appointment and just get in there and talk to them! I can sleep better tonight knowing they are helping.

We cancelled the policy and my dad maintained all of his other policies with Allstate. This week my DAD received a collections notice for a month of the premium for my MOM'S umbrella policy. No phone calls, no letters, nothing. They sent him to collections. I just called to resolve the issue and there was no apology, no explanation and I had to pay the mont of the premium. This is absolutely unbelievable and a horrible way to treat a loyal client. The amount of money is inconsequential, the distress this caused my father is horrible. He's 81 years old and has never paid anything late his entire life. He was devastated to receive a notice from a collection company and I am shocked and disappointed by how this was handled when we called in to try to resolve it. The account has been paid in full. I really hope that $45 was worth losing a long term client over.
