We couldn't be happier with our experience at Purple Door Christian Childcare!…read more The staff is incredible. All are nurturing, attentive, and clearly passionate about what they do. I have had 2 children there for the past 5 years who absolutely loves going every day, and it's such a relief as a parent to know they're not only safe, but thriving in a positive, engaging environment. Everything is very clean, classrooms are well-organized which helps support development in fun and creative ways. They strike the perfect balance between structured learning and play-based exploration. My children are both older now and in after school care, but when they were full time, I saw so much growth in them socially, emotionally, and intellectually. The teachers treat the kids like their own, and it truly feels like a second family. The longevity of the teaching staff make is so that the children build strong, lasting relationships which is very important. If you're looking for a childcare center where your child will be loved, supported, and encouraged to grow, Purple Door is your place. We're so grateful to have found them years ago!

This place goes beyond just teaching the basics of education - they are deeply committed to instilling values that shape children into kind, empathetic, and honest individuals. Through their daily interactions, lessons, and activities, they encourage children to treat others with kindness, understand different perspectives, and value honesty. The kids are constantly working as teams, learning to share, and practicing patience. These are simple yet HUGE principals that have shaped my son to be such an incredibly loving human already (at age 5). What's truly remarkable is how the staff themselves model these principles. They consistently demonstrate patience, understanding, and respect, creating a nurturing environment where children feel safe and valued. It's inspiring to see how the staff lead by example, showing the kids what it means to live with integrity and care for others. If you're looking for a childcare center that not only prepares your child for academic success but also helps them grow into a good-hearted person, Purple Door Christian Childcare is the perfect place. It's more than childcare - it's a community that helps children thrive in every sense of the word.

We love it here and would recommend them to anyone! The staff is really accommodating and has been really easy to work with. They do have some teacher turnover, but unfortunately that happens at every single daycare. When it does happen, it's been communicated to us and a replacement is there almost immediately. I feel very comfortable leaving our little girl there. She really enjoys it and is starting to really bond with her teachers. I've never doubted the level of care or compassion each of the teachers has displayed. They've helped me along as a first time mom on what sorts of things to bring in and when. They don't bat an eye when I've asked silly questions or when we have forgotten spare clothes for the second day. I honestly can't say enough nice things about them.

They offer great extra fun like date nights when the kids can stay late on selected Friday's for dinner so parents can enjoy some alone time or Saturday morning activities like yoga or pumpkin patch visits so families can meet. They send home daily sheets which are advertised to have personal comments on the children's day but my child's teacher does not write anything more than a impersonal reminder of an upcoming event. I like that they send photos home by email throughout the day but when they sent a video the teacher in the video seemed exceptionally unenthused. I am very frustrated by their insistence that parents pay full price when children are not attending due to the pandemic. When we are under a stay at home advisory and told not to go anywhere that can be avoided they state it is their policy we needed to give them 30 days prior notice.... of the governors orders... which is not possible. I understand they have a policy b the policy was not drafted with a pandemic in mind and their inflexibility during this difficult time leaves me very frustrated. Additionally emails sent in reference to this matter were replied to in a rude and unprofessional manner.

What I like about Primrose is how well they communicate with parents. I get about 2-3 emails per week that keep me up to date on what I need to remember to bring, special events and any changes that happen. What's more is their attention to keeping parents involved in the experiences their children get to have. The staff even takes time to send me pictures a few times a month. For instance, this week, I received a set of pictures of him holding a baby Alligator this week when they had some folks from the wild life center come into class. I'm online almost all day long for what I do. I enjoy reading Dr. Z's blog and enjoy tweeting out the lists of children's books. Their usually good fodder for weekend trips to the library. One suggestion I would make for Primrose in general here is to make each location have their own unique Facebook pages so that parents at the school could connect with each other as well. It would be nice to have an online hub where parents could talk and coordinate play dates, birthday parties, etc. Primrose has excellent and accredited programs and curriculum. I really feel like the Pinnacle location pays special diligence to making sure that the programs implemented as seamlessly as possible. In the summer, Pinnacle even goes as far to have weekly special events like "Water Day" "Bounce House Day" and a few others. My son really looks forward to these days. Finally, I want to say that the teachers and really the entire staff at Pinnacle are absolutely top notch. This is a collection of friendly people who really get how kids learn. They also respect and understand the importance of keep parents involved in that process. Primrose at Pinnacle an excellent school and my son loves it!

TL;DR - The daycare left the gate that led from the toddler play yard to the parking lot unlocked,…read moreand my son was able to open the gate, walk across the parking lot, and enter the retention pond. The teacher never noticed until a code was called and the Director raced outside to grab my son. Full review below. My son had been going to this Primrose location for a little over a year. A couple weeks ago, my son's class was outside in the play yard with their teacher. My son, and another little one, pushed open the gate leading from the play yard to the parking lot without the teacher noticing. This gate was supposed to be locked, but was not. My son walked out of the play yard, across the parking lot, and into the retention pond, without his teacher noticing. The only reason why a code was called was because a teacher in another classroom happened to look out their classroom window and see my son walking into the pond. My son might not be here today if the teacher hadn't looked out their window. While the Director acted quickly to pull my son out of the pond, this major lapse in security should have never occurred. The daycare critically failed to complete security checks to ensure all gates were locked. My child could have died because they failed to complete security checks. I, obviously, pulled my son out of Primrose School at Pinnacle. I could never trust them to take the necessary measures needed to ensure my child's, or any of the other children's who attend this daycare, safety. I understand that the executive staff are taking responsibility for what happened, cooperating with the investigation, and taking steps to mitigate the risk of this happening again, but this should have never happened. My son loved his teachers and going to this school. This entire incident is heartbreaking for me and his dad.

When we created our guest list, we quickly realized that almost every couple on our list had at least ONE kid under the age of 3. Yikes!!!! Mobile Mommies to the rescue!! Jeanette was very quick to respond to my last minute inquiry. I had never used a sitter service for our parties in the past since this Whole kid thing is new to our young circle of friends. The day of the party, Jeanette and her colleague arrived right on time. They brought all of the supplies for the kids to play with along with sign up sheets for our friends to sign when dropping their kids off in our basement. The parents had great peace of mind and enjoyed the party, knowing that their little ones were nearby and under great care!!! I highly recommend Mobile Mommies for any party you're hosting with lots of children. The kids have more fun playing with each other and so do the parents :) I could also see how this service would be perfect for weddings, graduation parties, etc!! Highly recommend and will use again!!

They sent my son home no under wear no pull up and all they had to say was she forgot. I reached out to the administrator Deidre white and she had me come for a meeting and told me I complain to much . Lied and said the teachers can't have a conversation with me when I never had one with either teacher. All children have good and bad days but to tell me you have 7 children who disrupt class and only remove my 2 children who are not in the same class room speaks a lot of volumes. After telling me I can keep them there for 2 weeks to find placement she text me at 8 at night on a Friday to say she scheduled a family in replace of my daughter when she still had a week to go in the center. This is NOT a learning center the only thing they want to do is put your child in a high chair for the slightest incident. Teachers on cell phones and not paying attention to the children at all. Only way your kid will make it in this day care is if you are a mother that just doesn't care. I HIGHLY DONT RECOMMEND. They only have 6 months of experience and it really shows
