Three days before my surgery, they called to check in and make sure I was all set. On the day of, the nurses were fantastic, my anesthesiologist answered all my questions, and Dr. Smith came in to check on me, making me feel completely at ease. I was unsure of what type of surgery would help me feel better, I felt heavy and unbalanced even though my weight had been stabilized for 7 years. The first Surgeon I spoke to had been recommended by 2 close family members, he thought I was an excellent candidate for a Facelift.. I had never mentioned anything about my face, after reminding him why I was there, he said it would be no problem and recommended a leg lift. I determined that he didn't understand my leg lymphedema and I was worried about recovery. I went home and started doing my own research and found Dr Dash. She came highly recommended, her clients felt heard, felt involved, felt safe and respected. This is especially important with us Seniors, we are often not heard or seen.
