The caregivers inpatient were overall amazing. Its the promises they made to entice you to bring your loved one there..... and then fail and fail again that you need to know about. Hospice is pretty much no care other than cleaning. What we really thought we would get was professional counseling. We were promised counseling for our mother who was losing her husband of 70+ years, for their children, grandchildren, great grandchildren.... Nothing like we were promised. We were told after he passed they would reach out and support us and her the next week and never heard from them. I called and asked... no call back. I called again... finally someone said they thought we lived on the opposite side of town ????? They even made an appt with our mother before christmas, having me leave work to be there and then stood her up. So, remember all the bells and whistles arent going to be there. The staff at the facility was great... just the sales pitch and delivery was way apart. Still waiting for them to fulfill their promises but, they got their money and moved on. I was offended when i received a solicitation not once but twice to donate money to their foundation.... the literature even mentioning how they offer bereavement support. They offer but they just dont deliver.

They went out of their way to make sure she always had her medications to keep her comfortable - including one time when a nurse drove back and forth to obtain a signature from a doctor for a new script. She wanted my Mom to be comfortable over the weekend and was determined to make sure she had it as soon as possible. The delivery driver, Micheal, always called before he delivered equipment and was extremely kind with Mom. Our nurse, Asiyah, was a dream. My Mom had the utmost respect for her because she was so compassionate as well as a great listener. I adored her because she was readily available by text, called me often, listened, and genuinely loved Mom. Mom had visits from sweet Caroline - who referred to Mom as Mama as she tenderly helped her shower, or give her foot rubs, or even just watch Judge shows. The music therapist, Anna, was such a calming presence. She has the voice of an angel and has a repertoire of songs to pull from - she even sung some songs in Spanish to Mom. Everyone we met was so kind and patient - the chaplain, other nurses, social workers... and were all available via text - it felt so personal. Even after Mom died, the texts and phone calls kept coming in to check on me, offer grief support for the children, and to share their love of Mom. My only feedback would be to work on the response time with the toll-free number - it could be more efficient. However, I am so grateful that everyone gave us their cell numbers and were available via text or call when I needed them. I highly recommend Seasons.

For that reason, I recommended them to my wife's family seeking care for her mother after steering them away from a local firm here in our town. I called the office on Tuesday to discuss arrangements to get the process started and spoke to a wonderful lady who took all of my information. She assured me a home visit the next day should not be a problem (my mother in law was coming home from nursing center that day). She told me she needed to check the schedule and would call me back within 5 or 10 minutes with a time for the visit. One hour passed and I never heard from her. Upon calling back, I found the office closed and directed my way to the owners voice-mail where I explained the situation and never heard back from her after leaving 2 or 3 messages. I finally did hear back from her the next morning where I was told they were booked for the rest of the week. I do not understand why I could not have been told that in my first call to the office and do not understand why I was promised a call back in 5 or 10 minutes that never happened. In today's world of technology, an organized and professional firm would immediately know the schedules for home visits. Needless to say this lack of caring and professionalism has put me in a bad light with my wife's family as they now scramble to find care that is desperately needed. Had I been told at my initial call that no times were available, I would have completely understood. Sometimes growth gets the best of many businesses. Perhaps that is what has happened here.

The nurses and staff were caring, accommodating, friendly, and sensitive to the obviously delicate situation. The center itself is warm and friendly, with little nooks and sitting areas, a kitchen, a vast library with books, DVDs, & games, a beautiful chapel, and each guest suite has its own patio - large enough for the patient's bed to be rolled out in nice weather! They don't have specific visiting hours, and all ages (and species if the patient would like to see a pet) are encouraged to visit, as long as all are sensitive to the noise level. I can't imagine a better place for my loved one's final days. This experience ultimately inspired me to become a volunteer there. If you are at the point where you must consider hospice for someone you love, I highly recommend this facility and its amazing staff.

He was made to suffer, never brought any of the Medicare approved, and paid for, hospice care and end of life "luxuries" that are simply the basic necessities for a dying patient living their last days at home. My mother would ask for wipes and adult diapers and was given 1 package of each for an entire month. Gloves couldn't be spared, mouth swabs couldn't be spared, the "gel memory foam mattress" for the hospital bed was an egg crate zipped up in plastic liner... I wouldn't recommend letting these people care for my dying pet. I'm just grateful that my daddy was able to get to the right place and get his pain under control so that he didn't have to die in agony and fear, which is exactly what would have happened had we stayed with Dynamic and continued to listen to the inexperienced nurses and staff.
