Foody joints are sparce in Globe, but there are a few hole in the walls. Drift Inn has been around since the early 1900's, at least the building (I think as a bar.) Couple of pool tables, minimal seating. Clean, but old. Fun. We got there 1/2 hour before they stopped serving food. I had a Ruben w/ Fries and wife a burger w/ Onion rings. Very good. Took a while, but my Ruben was hot off the grill, as was the wife's burger. Fries hot and crispy. Just great bar food. Nothing fancy, but easy going. 3 out of 5 stars for just overall ambience. This is not a place to take little kids, due to some of the painting on close to the ceiling - a certain level of female exposure.

My experience here was so bad on the first visit that a second just is not going to happen. They should put as much effort into having clean bathrooms and good service as they do buying TVs. It was very hard to get a drink refill unless you are a regular and my food order was messed up. Very uncomfortable overall for a lot of reasons but I don't want to be too critical. I guess if you were passing through and wanted to watch a game and did not care about the rest it would be a good stop.

Owner: "Leave and never come back!" I've been cut off at bars before, and I don't take it personally, but getting perma-banned over a minor misunderstanding seems a little over the top. Fun fact: This place has been on the market for 4 years. Really hoping it sells soon, so the owner can retire to palm springs or whatever. It's a cool building, and I would like to go back to spending money here.

We've visited Pinetop twice now, and it has officially become our favorite escape from the Buckeye…read moreheat! One place we always look forward to visiting is The Den. They have live music on Friday and Saturday nights, and every band we've seen has been fantastic. We also joined in on Musical BINGO, and my husband actually won! It was such a fun and lively experience. The bartenders are friendly, engaging, and made us feel right at home. They even recognized us on our second visit, which was such an unexpected and wonderful touch. The food is amazing, too. The hamburgers are terrific, and the drinks definitely hit the spot. You can sit at the bar, relax at a table inside where it is nice and cool, or enjoy the outdoor deck overlooking the sound stage. There is also a lower seating area for anyone who likes being closer to the music and all the action. The Den is also dog-friendly, which is a huge plus when you are traveling with your furry family member--just remember to keep them off the grass. During the band, children were playing on the lawn, families were relaxing, and everyone seemed to be having a wonderful time. The entire evening felt fun, welcoming, wholesome, and full of great energy. Between the music, food, drinks, friendly service, and beautiful outdoor setting, The Den has quickly become one of our favorite places in Pinetop. We highly recommend stopping by!

Evidently she was the owner's sister but, the way she treated me and a few other people in line blew me away. She made a much older, disabled woman walk all the way back to her car to get her ID even though the woman was in the night before. When someone pointed out that she could look her name up on the guest list, the owner/sister(?) said, "that sounds like a YOU problem" ~ what?! You'd think they didn't rely on customers to keep their doors open. I drove 8.5 hours to go to Lions Den and see Pinetop. I doubt I'd come back that way. And, the Wine Burger? It's "OK" ~ it's a burger. I'm not sure what the big deal is.
