ABC Women's Center is such a huge support and blessing to women with unplanned pregnancies and to their families! The staff and volunteers there are non judgmental and are loving and supportive to every client. The Center provides pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, parenting classes, peer counseling, material resources (such as diapers, formula, clothes), and post abortion counseling.... all free of charge to the client! The parenting classes and peer counseling are offered for 2 years following a child's birth. The Center does not perform abortions nor do they refer for abortions, but they provide client requested information of all of the women's options so that she would be well informed to make whatever choice she chooses. Ultrasounds are done by licensed registered nurses. I would highly recommend ABC Women's Center to any pregnant woman in need of support, love and peer counseling during her pregnancy!! read more

ABC center has a great, loving and warm atmosphere for those who find themselves pregnant at a time when they are not sure what to do about it. ABC offers excellent counseling and encouragement to it's visitors. The visitors are aware that this is not a place that leads to the death of the child, but rather welcomes, comforts and supports the mother and helps them embrace and love their growing baby and appreciate the beauty and uniqueness of each new life. Many visitors continue to stay in touch with ABC long after the birth of their child, receiving support and sharing the pride they have in their precious little one. The need is so great here in Connecticut for more centers like ABC, staffed with loving and dedicated women who offer their visitors help, encouragement and support in their time of need. ABC Women's Center has blessed me and my wife in so many ways. Through them, we learned that children are a gift from the Lord; they are a reward from him. In a time of uncertainty, tribulations and distress, this organization was all we had. Not only did they support and celebrate our pregnancy, they provided us with the tools to become better parents. For 30 years ABC Women's Center of Middletown have been offering free help for people during their pregnancies. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who's not sure about what they're going to do regarding their pregnancy. Great community resource serving people facing an unplanned pregnancy. They don't offer or refer for abortions but they carefully and compassionately discuss options and care. They are licensed professionals who care . If you choose to keep your baby, they offer pre and post birth parenting and counseling until your child is two years old!
