I had to take my car into a local shop for them to reconnect the windshield wiper hoses so they would work. it cost $28.50. (I live over an hour away, otherwise I would have gone back for them to do it). So if you have your windshield replaced by Safelite check EVERYTHING before you drive out.

Said this one was better! Not a week later a crack came out the side from the trim, the tech came yesterday, the crack had moved considerably, and the truck hadn't been driven since the discovery. A small chip in the crack in the path of it continuing the about the size of the tip of a pencil appeared. I didn't see it before and the tech said it was the cause of the crack. Not faulty glass or his fault. "Of course not!" If that small chip could crack the windshield like that it has to be a very cheap glass, I think it was a fault as the crack moved it popped it out. Tech didn't like my getting upset about paying for another glass, I told him to replace it and I would pay and went into the house. After a while he knocked on my door, telling my he didn't like my attitude and to calm down! At my home, gets me to come outside again, and tells me to calm down! I left him to do his job and wait for him to finish, and he pulled me back out to tell me that! Then decided he wasn't going to do the job and left. The main office would not answer my call. They let the phone ring, no answering machine, just let it ring 3:10 in the afternoon. Buyer beware, good price, but you get what you pay for! I have called Safelite to do the job now. cost more but I think it's worth it, a better rep.

Before the appointment they called me to tell me they don't offer loaner vehicles if you didn't buy the car there. Then they asked me if I would wait or just drop it off. I asked them how long it would take, to which they replied "they tell you that when you get there for the appointment." How can anyone answer that question if they don't know how long it would take? Once it was time for the appointment I showed up and talked to Stephen Lancaster, the retail service manager. He proceeded to tell me there was no giving a loaner vehicle to people unless they bought the car there. I explained that I was not the one that ASKED for the loaner vehicle. It was OFFERED to me. After being of ZERO assistance with this issue, we moved to the next issue. The service itself. Our drivers side window seal is leaking. The car has 33000 miles. They then told me it would cost me $150 to have them simply look at the seal because the 12 month 12,000 mile warranty was expired. In actuality, the 2022 telluride comes with a 5 year 60000 mile warranty and a 10 year 100000 mile drivetrain warranty. I have had numerous poor encounters at this service department. None of the times did I find the Service Manager to have a good attitude. They are smug because they know they have the market cornered here in our small town.
