My experience at ABC Tire in Pinellas Park was terrible!! I pulled into the parking lot and walked inside. A man and a lady were behind the counter. No one greeted me so I figured they were in the middle of something and I would patiently wait. After about 20 seconds of silence the man just started staring at me. Then said "what do you want" in a very unfriendly voice. I explained that I had done a patch on one of my tires myself until I could get it done professionally and shared That is was leaking and I was wondering if they could look at it to see if they could patch it professionally. The man asked me where my car was. I said it's the van parked out front he says pull it into the bay. There were cones blocking the way I would pull around the side into the bay and the parking was one way. So then I asked was it okay to back out of the parking and the cone around due to the cones. He and the lady exchanged conversation and then the man states "well she already parked where she wasn't supposed to park I guess I'll have to move the cones". As he walked out I said that was kind of rude. I've never been to this place how was I supposed to know where to park. I decided that I wasnt going to stay there. I walked outside and the man told me he wasn't talking to me when he said that and I said well you were looking at me when you said it and said clearly where I would hear. I told him I felt that was very rude. He told me "this is just how I talk it's okay if you don't like it". I stated I would not be staying. All the while all the employees head the exchange and not one person came over to attempt to make it right and keep my business. Instead the guy I was talking to walked inside and I got into my car. Another man came to move the cones blocking I thought maybe he was going to g to talk to me. But he did not. I rolled my window down and he just looked away. I will not be going there again. A lot of tire shops have you park in the parking lot to check you in. How was I supposed to know this one was different? read more

These guys are terrible. Don't use them. Will be sending a bill for molding repair. Broke the molding when jacking the car up then claimed he didn't. Couldn't even to bother to check the pressure on tire he repaired 42, or the other three. read more

I brought in my own tires to have them mounted and balanced, ive come here several times before for their quality work and cheap prices. However, this time I was charged nearly double what I'm normally charged, their balance is terrible and I was judged because I brought tires that were smaller then factory because I can not afford to pay for the right size tires. Some people are struggling to get by in life and just don't have the funds necessary. I will not be back after this visit. read more

Unbelievably horrible customer service. I literally just got a tire from them last week and took care of the issue at hand but not even a week later I have a wobble noise and sound coming from the tire just replaced and my mechanic I show says that the tire is cupping And is completely bad. Only a week later. I called them to explain and unfortunately don't have my receipt because it was a used tire but wasn't that expensive and they will do absolutely nothing for me to make it right and on top of it made sure their customer service was top-notch as well. I have been going to ABC tires on Park Blvd Pinellas Park since the day they opened. I have always been a loyal customer I have always recommended them for their honesty. I have always had 100% trust and respect for this Owner and this business I don't know what has happened in the last couple of years that this Owner has gone from such honesty to such dishonesty. Today was the last straw. Over the years I overlooked things but, not today. The so called head Mechanic is so rude and disrespectful to female customers. I have spoke not only to the girl up front but, to the owner about this man's behavior. Another time I went there for a noise when I backed up. This so call head mechanic said it was such and such part. I had the mechanic replace the part he said it was all fixed charged me $80.00. I go to back up and the noise is still there. I told the so called mechanic to put my old part back in. The mechanic said that he could not find my part as he threw in a pile of trash. I just left as I was not getting anywhere with anyone. On my way home I stopped at Goodyear. Goodyear said "it's your tires". The 2 back tires needed to be replaced. I replaced the tires and the noise was gone. 3 weeks ago I brought my truck to ABC Tire for an alignment a different mechanic checked my truck out and said I needed a right control arm and the left needed a tie rod. I had the control arm I went and purchased a tie rod. Today I had another place repair my shift cable (ABC Tire does not do that). I had that mechanic check out my front end for these parts. The new mechanic said that there was nothing wrong with the parts and they did not need to be replaced. I went back to ABC Tire to get the alignment. The so called head mechanic said I needed the left wheel bearing replaced. Now I am pissed. I said which is it? A couple of weeks ago your guy said I needed the tie rod and control arm now today it is neither it is the left bearing. The owner seen and heard me and he came over. I explained what I was told a couple of weeks earlier. After a few minutes discussion the owner had the nerve to say to me that no one here wants to work on your truck, that I complain too much. My response was I complained 2 times one for the so called head mechanics treatment of female customers and the 2nd time because this man charged me $80.00 for a part that I did not need. Finally the owner said for me not to come back and to find another place to do my alignment. I drove back to the mechanic that fixed my shift cable and told them what ABC Tire said about the wheel bearing. The mechanic immediately took my truck in jacked it up and checked everything. The mechanic said there was nothing wrong with my front end. I just needed an alignment. I have lost total trust and respect for this Owner and his business. This is a sad day I never in my life would have thought I would write anything negative about ABC Tires. After reading some of the other reviews apparently this is now their practice of telling people they need parts and work done that they don't need. Good prices VS competitors. Customer service so so not the best but they do a good job otherwise. Issue I had was the owner tried up charging me. Luckily when I got to paying I guess he forgot about his up charge and I paid the regular price. I even questioned him why the price was higher then his website and he didn't have an answer. I showed up 10 minutes before closing on SATURDAY! All I needed was a valve stem replaced. Besides being slightly more than 1/2 the price of everyone else, they were as pleasant as could be and were very quick. This is my new go to tire place! I am not sure if these are new owners or not but if not, I don't believe these bad reviews. read more

BEWARE!!!!!!! I worked for good year(so I know what and how things are supposed to be done the correct/safe way), and I only came here cause my boyfriends boss was paying for his tires and I have NEVER SEEN SUCH A JOKE OF A PLACE!!! As I watched him take the tire off they didn't have rubber pads on the machine (to make sure the rims don't get scratched) and as he mounted the new tire on he did not replace the valve stem and that's so important because in a couple of months, hopefully that long, that valve stem is going to start to leak. Not to mention the store owner or manager or who ever he was, he was wearing sandals ! Yes I said it, flip flops! The kind you wear to the beach!!! Osha would love to get their hands on these guys. And to add to all of this... I literally seen a worker bring in a chicken, yes a real live chicken in a crate! I will have to call aspca on this also. I wouldn't bring an abandon car/truck that's been broken down and will never run again or for that fact anything! This place is literally a joke and circus at the same time!!! read more

BEWARE of this PLACE! they sold me 4 tires NEW, but they were rejected tires that Larry said they bought from a place down the street. Then I said give me the address and he said they are now out of Biz. I said give me a refund. he said no, I was at his mercy to buy 2 more tires for the front at least to get out of there to another place. so I bought now 6 tires, and they too were rejects. At almost paying $1,000.00 for 6 Brand new (SO CALLED) tires. I was scammed BIGTIME. Larry said do what you have to do. I called 8 on your side, they said this thing happens all the time, and said it is not a worthy story, so I said lesson learned, I can at least share it with others in life maybe you can think before you do. On Wednesday 9/6/17. Had this shop put on 4 "like new" tires a couple weeks ago. Everything seemed fine until I felt a wobble in my steering wheel today, slowed down and boom, lug nuts snapped off and entire wheel went rolling down the road. Thank god this didn't cause a big accident and no one was hurt. Had the truck towed back to them, obviously the mechanic didn't put this wheel on properly and/or tighten the lug nuts. Spoke with the shop manager and instead of showing empathy and trying to solve the problem/offer options on how he could fix it, he immediately denied any fault, was not willing to take responsibility and turned me away. Usually I don't spent my time leaving a review for any business but I decided to leave a review for ABC tires as it might save someone precious time and money. Would like to start by saying that the people working there are decent people, but I am not confident about their mechanical skills and I am only speaking for those that I had to deal with. Brought my 2015 VW for a wheel alignment, they test drive it, brought it into the garage, raised the car and couple of minutes later they called me in and showed me that the lower control arm bushings were bad, so I took their word. Replaced the bushings on my own as I am an aircraft technician, and sure enough the bushings were perfect and there was no need to replace them. Got an alignment done in a different state. All good and happy. Few months later I bring my 2015 BMW, my weekend car to get an alignment done bc I've installed brand new tires. Guess what? Same exact scenario. They call me in to show me that the lower ctr arm bushings are bad, but this time I didn't buy their conclusion. I've asked them how to be sure if the bushings are bad? The guy answered; the only way to find out is to change them. I went home, inspected it and sure enough the bushings were just fine. Ended up going to another place for an alignment. All good. I would not recommend going there as you can possibly jeopardize wasting your time and money. read more

The disrespectful "women" at the front desk wanted to argue insisting I didn't know what I was talking about when I got 1 tire a month ago and it wasn't balanced but it was only noticeable until going 65+ so I didn't make a big deal until yesterday because I have a son on the way and I have to work.. I got a oil change and tire rotation at tire kingdom and they didn't rotate my tires because one couldn't even come off due to being impacted in so much, they also told me my tire wasn't aligned and was showing wire. They looked at my tire on the machine at the place who messed up the next day and it was very unbalanced but she said there was no way it would mess my alignment up. The opposite tire in the rear was wearing and showing wire because the unbalanced tire messed the alignment up . She argued with me and told me to leave after I respectfully asked for a new tire because the other one isn't going to last much longer. read more

Thats 50% more than ive ever paid for a used tire here. Looking online i found a brand new one for $38. If i didnt need the tire now id have left. Needless to say i wont be back. read more

They have awesome deals on new and used tires! I have been here multiple times with several different cars, trucks, suvs and trailers that I own - awesome prices and awesome service every time. They get very busy on Saturdays (which is a sign that they are a good place), so make sure you get there early. I recently bought used tires for two of my vehicles (a Mercedes and a Jeep) and nobody else could beat their prices. The tires were installed very quickly and were perfectly balanced.
