Approximately 3 weeks ago I had a new garage door installed. The installers left my home and after…read morelooking at the door again I realized they only put one screw in the opener bracket attached to the door. Reason being is that they over drilled the hole and it was too large to hold it . Hi Before they left I asked if there was any problem with the door opener and they said no. At this point I paid and tipped all three installers. I found no screws on the ground meaning that they realized what they did and never tried to remedy or tell me about the situation. I then texted the salesman Mr. Joe Quinn telling him what occurred and sent him a picture of the bracket in. He said we will send someone out to correct it. In the meantime I ordered a reinforcement bracket and installed myself. No one has contacted me since the install and thank God I'm handy because I was unable to use the door until I corrected the problem 2 weeks later. In fairness door was nice -company was prompt -and until I discovered the issue all was fine. Next time I will pay anyone who works on my home by credit card so issues like this can be contested. Requested a quote on the website. I got an email with a number to call. I called the number and the…read moreperson who sent the email is not the person who answered (okay not a problem). The man who answered seemed almost bewildered as to why I was calling. I gave him the name of the person who emailed me and requested to speak to him. He took my number and said that gentleman would call me. Several hours later, the same man I spoke to earlier called me asking why I was requesting a call back. I was confused but just said I am just requesting an estimate. He said and I quote, "well what product will you be using??" I told him I wasn't sure because this is our first time replacing floors. I know I want hardwood but I'm not sure of anything else. I would like someone to come to the house measure the area and give us some information and an estimate. He said, "We have our customers know exactly what product they want before we come out there or else it's just a waste of our time." I thanked him for the call back and hung up. Left a terrible taste in my mouth. I don't know how they do business but I have never experienced a place of business pushing that business away. I guess I will look elsewhere.

Superb quality service and care of customers is an attitude, which almost always begins with the leader and my wife's experience with Frank who owns Reed's Heating and Cooling bears that out! He was honest, responsive and caring even sharing with her his experience with the product she was purchasing. Frank spoke clearly and didn't use terminology that might confuse her. He honestly told her that he couldn't get the original product but that the one he was installing, which she would never notice was any different than the original product, actually cost less. He gave her the time for her questions and always returned phone calls. He knew he was in competition with other businesses and did his research to make sure she would be totally satisfied once it was installed! The repaired brickwork was not straight and square which I noticed shortly after the repair but, was willing to live with but I was told that they did not rebuild it to the correct height and the fact that they did not replace the flue liner is an issue. They charged to come out to quote to lock you in and then did inferior masonry. It's too late for any recourse but, can still want others to steer clear!
