The lady who owns the place has done a fantastic job at curating a remarkable selection of things that you're going to want to try. The vibes are cozy and the decor interesting. The price points span a good range so there's something for everyone. Definitely check out the wine specials. I picked up a dozen assorted bottles to fill up a wine rack that had gone empty, and I was able to do that for what turned out to be less than expected. Will definitely be returning once I need to do that again. Aside from the interesting selection of bottles and the friendly vibes, it's also cool to see new and quirky businesses popping up in areas that are undergoing a revitalization. You love to see it. Long story short this is a very cool spot that you should make it a point to visit. Take the wine lover in your life and let them marvel at the unique selection. She is basically a librarian of beverages. Her knowledge runs deep and she genuinely knows the story, flavor profile, and use for just about every bottle in the shop. Conversations here feel natural and educational, not salesy. A quick heads up for anyone not from Alabama, the state government makes things messy when it comes to alcohol taxes and pricing. That is not on Lenell. She clearly does her best to keep prices reasonable, but the regulations and taxes make it challenging. Knowing that, the value is still there when you look at the quality and uniqueness of the selection. And the selection is what really stands out. It is curated, thoughtful, and downright impressive. I was able to pick up several bottles I have never seen before anywhere else. This is not a grab a bottle and leave type of store. This is a browse, ask questions, discover something new kind of place. If you enjoy unique spirits, interesting bottles, and talking to someone who truly knows their craft, Lenell's is absolutely worth the visit. The price on the tequila was $89.99 (750 ml) and the price of the Cointreau $39.99 (375 ml). This sounded high to me but I'd already committed to the recipe so I bought them and spent a total of around $150 with tax. I looked online afterwards and found that a 750 ml bottle of Casamigos tequila goes for around $45-55 and a 375 ml bottle of Cointreau goes for around $30. So basically this store sold me these bottles at 100% more than the normal retail price.... I later tried to go in and get a refund with this information but was denied. DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO SEVERELY OVERPAY FOR YOUR LIQUOR!!!

That isn't a bad thing, they are all set up pretty similar, which makes it simple to shop from location to location. The staff here will probably not engage with you unless you are making a purchase, but they are plenty friendly enough when you do make a purchase. Stock on hand seems to be, for the most part, pretty good. They have every type of liquor that you will need for that next concoction. They also have some pre-mixed drink selections that you can check out, so you don't have to try and get creative (or messy) at home. Prices are the best you'll find for liquor anywhere in the state (all these stores are prices similar), so it's a good place to pinch a penny or two when making a purchase. All in all not a bad location, I'd recommend them.

The prices her are exactly the same as any other ABC, the staff is friendly but if you need help you will have to ask. The selection is decent as they carry a wide variety. I usually get a handle as I am making some kind of drink for a party. For me this is the only store I visit now as it is close and quick, especially if you know what you want. My typical time in store is less than 5 minutes. And for me that is a plus right there, when you are on your lunch hour and wry minute counts.
