He and his partner proceeded to pull the pump in our 120 ft. Well, they had an exact new replacement pump on the truck. By 11:45 a.m. the pump had been replaced and had water. I find this what I would call amazing service. This is a very rare thing today. I can only say Mauer well is as goold as it gets if you have a Well problem. I would personally recommend them to everyone.

It's…read morea top-quality self-propelled walk-behind mower - the EZ Start model - and it ran like a champ for years, and almost always started on the first pull. But for the past 3 Springs it has been really hard to start, especially the first mowing of the season. I took it to a repair shop on Western Ave and they got it running a bit better but it still wasn't quite right. The next year I took it out to the repair shop on Mayflower Road and they said they changed the carburetor and charged me an arm and a leg but it still wasn't quite right. I took it back to the guy on Mayflower and he fiddled with it but they never got it right. This spring the mower wouldn't start - again! - so I took it out to the shop on Mayflower but they had relocated to Elkhart. Turned out to be a good thing, because it forced me to find another shop, and I looked around and found Mowers & More, which was a bit out of the way for me, but closer than Elkhart, so I stopped by. They're located in what looks to have been some rental storage lockers - very much NOT fancy - and the office manager is a bit on the cranky side. But from here on out, the news is all good. Bottom line is, the mower starts on the first pull again, reliably, and cuts like it did when it was brand new. The bill was incredibly reasonable, quite possibly due in part to the low overhead location. And they got it done fairly quickly. So if you want white glove service and posh surroundings, Mowers & More probably won't appeal to you. But if your prime concern is getting your mower running great at a reasonable price, I highly recommend Mowers & More, cranky manager and all. They do great work in a reasonable time frame for a very fair price. One last caveat - as of the time I was there, they weren't accepting credit cards. I don't know if they plan to change that or not, so if that matters I recommend that you call first.

We brought our snowblower here after we called the place that we bought and were told they were an…read moreauthorized warranty service center. I started out by giving them a call and explained our situation with our snow blower. The lady who answered the phone was both friendly and helpful. She let us know that they would be able to have our snowblower back in a day or two. About an hour later we took it in and were greeted just as pleasantly in person as we had on the phone. She answered our questions and got us taken care of and let us know they would give us a call when it was done. Here is the best part! Just a few hours after we dropped it off they called us to let us know it was fixed and ready to go. While they were at it they adjusted a couple things that would allow the blower to operate better... and not just because they could charge us for the additional work. The amount they charged us for the work they did was more than reasonable. It was much quicker than expected and very thorough. This place may not look like much from the outside, but we would definitely recommend this place and take other stuff here for work if we need it. They were super friendly, accommodating, and know what they are doing!
