Tina made it seem like they would help and yet it had been a month and I have yet to hear from them. Not even a check in email or call like I was told. I would never recommend using them. Your beat bet is to use Indeed and not waste your time using them. All talk no action. I had to do all the foot work even applying for jobs on their website and was told I wasn't qualified enough to apply. I don't know how one who bas a degree isn't qualified enough when many of their jobs were entry level... doesn't require a whole lot... One lady I talked to in the HR department who was rude in her email interactions. Tina also told me to send my resume to her and I did, and she still hasn't even looked over it. Overall, the worse experience I have ever had. You will be told they will help you find jobs and it's all left up to you, they will say they will help you find a job and when you do your part in finding a job, and your overqualified, they reject your application. They claim they want to empower women yet they have no shown that in their interactions.

My life has been opened up to so many opportunities now that I know the power I have in myself. I went from a toxic job/career that was killing me to confidently interviewing and being offered my dream job, declining that offer, and instead starting my own business doing something that fulfills my life. Carrie is a Creative Coach in so many ways, but her niche is showing you that you have the power to create a life that you love every day in every decision you make. She will send you on the path to creating the most amazing world around you that aligns perfectly with your vision.

I have spent most of my professional life as a curator or in other roles facilitating the exhibition and sale of other artists' work, but my goal for many years has been to focus more on my own art practice. I already admired Carrie as an artist and business person, so I knew her guidance would be invaluable for moving in this direction. Through twelve coaching sessions, Carrie helped me work through the many creative blocks and fears keeping me from working on my art full time. With her support, I was able to strategize financially in order to let go of part-time jobs that were taking up a disproportionate amount of my time and creative capacity for the pay. Leaving these roles was one of the best decisions I have ever made for myself. Some level of uncertainty accompanies any career shift, but the freedom I feel now that my time is my own is an invaluable gift, and one that has greatly increased my ability and desire to make my work. I'm grateful for Carrie's insightful guidance and support during this transition, and I highly recommend her coaching for creatives wanting to make any sort of change.

The first 6 months of the assignment, they would call to see how things were going at least once a month. They always made sure EVERYTHING was going well for me. This is probably the ONLY agency I would ever recommend working for in the Tucson area. While working for them, they offer some benefits. They pull the whole bait and switch with "We have a job for you!" and when you go in they say sorry we have nothing, then never call you again. I figured this would be the case when this agency contacted me randomly after finding my resume on Indeed. The pay was outstanding, the job description was vague, the timeframe was also vague. It sounded too good to be true so I was definitely skeptical. I contacted them to give them the benefit of the doubt. I met with one of their headhunters on a Wednesday, interviewed on Friday and started on Monday. Since then any questions I have are answered within the day, everyone is super attentive and nice. I've gotten a few check ins here and there to make sure everything is still going good. They seems to genuinely care from the beginning to placement and afterwards. From start to finish, my experience with The Editorial Department has been top-notch…read more My novel had already gone through several revisions, but was in need of a professional perspective to get it in publishing shape. Now that it is about to be released, I can say that editor Shannon Roberts and the team at TED, especially Jane Ryder, were instrumental in helping to take the manuscript to the next level. TED has an array of services, from proofreading to marketing, and different levels for each service to fit clients' particular needs. I chose the Manuscript Annotation option from among their editorial services, and received a comprehensive memo addressing character, story, structure and writing mechanics, along with what amounted to a line edit and running commentary throughout the manuscript. The results exceeded my expectations. Shannon Roberts was incredibly incisive in her notes, comprehensive in her critique, demonstrated she completely understood where I was going with the manuscript, and offered specific suggestions that were excellent (I incorporated about 80 percent of what she presented). On top of the quality of her work, the speed at which it was completed astounded me. I was quoted a five-week turnaround time, and received the full Manuscript Annotation and memo in just about two weeks. Even if the full time allotted had been taken, her work would still have been impressive. Jane Ryder, who assists TED president Ross Brown and coordinates client services, was an absolute delight to work with - and indeed, she spent a great deal of time actually working with me, to ensure I got connected with the right editor and most helpful level of service. She was genuinely interested in my manuscript and me as an author, and sought to understand what I needed. Our conversations were a true pleasure, and her help was outstanding. The price for all of this was not what one would call cheap, but was completely in line with what most comparable high-quality editing services cost (and far less than some). Given the results, I consider what I spent to be a bargain. I cannot more highly recommend The Editorial Department, and plan on using their services again as soon as I have need.
