I came on this website PURPOSELY to post this. What a freaking joke. It was New Years Day as you can tell by the post, I understand it's busy. We waited almost TWO HOURS for a taxi and they said to us "Just take the next one" turns out they didn't book us down though we were right there and when we tried to get into the next one they LOCKED THE DOORS and claimed they never said that. We had to force our way into a taxi until they took us home. Everyone in line told us to just take it because they knew how long we had been waiting. On a busy night, don't even bother. Just terrible. For starters the lady on the phone was rude and condescending. The conversation went something like this: Her: "Abc" Me: "Hi, can I have a cab for now please, I'm at X...." Her (before I finished) "what company name, I can't send a driver to there because theres 300 companies" Me: "Oh, I was just going to tell you, its Company Name" Her: "Thats booked" Me: "Thank you" She hangs up. Well, it never arrived. I phoned them and they said "we sent a taxi and you wasn't there". Trying to blame me - what the hell? I'd be standing outside the whole time and they know where it is. I'd taken a cab to office earlier that morning. The lady told me theres nothing they can do and that I'd miss my train if they sent another taxi out. If it wasn't for someone in the office coming to the rescue, I'd have missed my train back to London. read more

ABC taxis offer everything you want from a taxi company - they're reliable, safe and reasonably priced. If I decide to ring for a taxi, I always ring this company because I know that they will arrive when I ask them to. Because they operate from two offices, you can almost always get through first time and they usually seem to have plenty of cars. The drivers are generally pretty chatty and friendly and their driving is always competent. The only drawbacks with ABC are that their main office is a bit run down and that it's at the opposite end of Wakefield from all the nightlife - therefore, on a night out it's easier to walk to a taxi rank or a more central taxi company. read more

I used this company yesterday to take me to, and from, a hospital appointment. As a car driver, it is very rare that I need to use taxis. I was a little apprehansive that I would get to the hospital in time. The driver picked me up exactly on time, 06:00, was very pleasant and courteous, the rate was very reasonable. When I was ready to return home, I contacted the office again. They answered very quickly, and within minutes a taxi arrived. It was a different driver, but he too was very pleasant. I will definately use this company again, and would recommend it to anyone. read more

I asked ABC cars several times if they could please arrange for a reduced fare as I was unable to drive to work due to an injury and I needed transport until August. \they promised a callback the same day. No callback! They continued to charged me £10 each way to travel 6 miles and kept procrastinating (look it up on Google ABC Cars big word for you!) so that they could continue to charge ridiculously high fares for a short journey. I ended up having to ask the hospital to remove my arm cast prematurely, so I could drive my own car back and forth to work! Thanks a lot ABC cars! Great customer service ....... NOT!!!!! I will never use this firm again! They took advantage of my misfortune to carry on charging me £10 each way, for a 6 mile journey!!! read more

my wife had to attend an exam in hunslet LS 10 this morning the 21 st october,unfortunately the driver never found the building she was going too surely a taxi firm like abc have sat navs or can suppy their drivers with proper directions. so not only has my wife paid taxi fares,and exam payment,but will have to rearrange the exam and pay again pull yer socks up abc read more
