But with this particular shop, the name of the game is convenience. Need something on a Sunday? Holiday? After 9 PM? If I fall in one of those categories, this place is right around the corner of my house. A match made in situational heaven. Since I can't fault them for being more expensive than the state store, in the review world, I won't let it throw much shade. But sticker shock in here always gets me. The place is clean, the selection is decent, and the cashiers are friendly. Never my first choice, but a pretty good backup plan.

I looked online afterwards and found that a 750 ml bottle of Casamigos tequila goes for around $45-55 and a 375 ml bottle of Cointreau goes for around $30. So basically this store sold me these bottles at 100% more than the normal retail price.... I later tried to go in and get a refund with this information but was denied. DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO SEVERELY OVERPAY FOR YOUR LIQUOR!!!

The person who ended up taking our order seemed either overwhelmed, new, or unsure of what they were doing, which made the service less than smooth. That said, they do have a solid selection of beers. Unfortunately, out of the four stouts I tried in my flight, three completely missed the mark, and the one I did enjoy was just okay. To be fair, it was a busy event, so I don't want to hold that entirely against them. The best breakfast version still belongs to the Lakeview locale. Like most of the Piggly Wigglies, the checkout is quick and efficient. See my review of the Liberty Park on why they win this feature though. The other nice element is the outdoor seating, which I have never really taken advantage of, but it is nice. The wine shop is set-off on its own, so that is good. With that said, it isn't as nice as the Publix in MBV, which is not as nice as its predecessor the Western in the same space. I miss people walking around drinking wine whilst they shop.
