Once I found one, used and off the rack I needed alterations to be ready for my Wedding in 4 weeks. This was absolutely no problem for Karen to get done in time. Karen is honest, kind and knows her stuff when it comes to fabric, body type and reality of how a dress is going to be worn. Can you sit down? Can you eat? Can you dance? Wil it drag? Showing too much cleavage for a Wedding? This was hands down the best experience in alterations I've ever had. Cannot wait to stay connected to this wonderful seamstress for all of my alteration needs. Karen, you're a REAL ONE. Thank you thank you thank you! You made no mentioned at the time of service there would be an extra fee for vents in the cost of shortening either tee. I immediately started searching for someone who could help on short notice and came across Dianne. After reading her reviews, I sent her a text message, and she responded almost immediately. She even offered to chat over the phone, which I really appreciated. Dianne graciously squeezed me into her schedule. I met with her that Saturday, showed her the dress and explained the alterations I needed, and left it in her capable hands. When I picked it up, I was absolutely blown away. The quality of her work was incredible--honestly some of the most beautiful alteration work I've ever seen, especially given the short turnaround time. The dress fit perfectly, and I couldn't have been happier with the result. Beyond her talent, Dianne is genuinely kind, welcoming, and professional. She made the entire experience stress-free, which meant a lot to me since I've never been a huge fan of wearing dresses in the first place. Her studio is adorable, and her puppy might just be the cutest employee ever! Dianne truly works magic, and I am so grateful she was able to help me. I will absolutely be returning for any future alterations and wouldn't trust anyone else. Highly recommend!

I hired Dianne for wedding dress alterations and was charged $700. The reasons why I'm leaving a…read morelow review are (1) her disorganization causing her to forget our appointments or at one time even altering ANOTHER dress because she misread the name, and (2) the final delivered dress was not finished! She left multiple pins in the veil and a dress seam. Lastly, I was willing to pay for someone experienced, but the bustle she made me was a single hook and broke within minutes. After hemming the dress, the edges were uneven and I ended up having to suggest a solution to repair the dress. Overall I would NOT go back to her again, I found her disorganized, overcommitted, and someone who underdelivers.

I was like "Hi, I'm here for pick-up." She didn't greet me at all, just held her hand out. I stood there confused. I told her I already threw it away because it literally says "RECEIPT" on the top and I didn't need it for my own records. She scolded me and told me not to forget the slip next time (even though again, she didn't tell me to bring it back to begin with). There will not be a next time because the whole interaction was unnecessarily awkward and rude. Don't take your bad day out on your customers.
