That to me was outrageous, $400 for assembly and $200 doc fee plus other fees, it was a deal breaker for me. It increased the cost of the 125 Trail by almost 50%......... I recently took my motorcycle to Village Cycle Center after it had been submerged in a lake for…read moreapproximately five minutes. Prior to this incident, the bike had no issues. I brought it in immediately so they could flush it out and ensure everything was in working order. During the process, it appears they removed the exhaust to clear the water, which understandably triggered the O2 sensor and a check engine light. However, when I asked about the light, I was told they did not know the cause. It wasn't difficult to conclude that the O2 sensor was the likely reason. Later, they contacted me and said the bike needed new spark plugs. I authorized that repair without issue. The following day, they called again and stated that my wiring harness was rusted and nonfunctional, and that it would cost $2,000 to repair. I declined. When I picked up the bike, it ran perfectly unlike they had said. Upon inspection, I found no rust or wiring harness issues, and the only ECU code was a o2 sensor that like I said earlier they said they have new clue why the engine light is on. Additionally, I noticed several screws and bolts were missing from my plastics, which had not been reinstalled properly. In short, the bike is running well despite the shop's claim that it required a costly wiring harness replacement, and it was returned to me with missing hardware.
