They charged me $100 for a check that I later found out was literally just them checking the engine code, which they told me there was no code. You can go to O'reilly's and get that for free btw. But they took advantage of my limited knowledge of cars and scammed me because that's the nature of this place. I got an oil change here two years ago, they spilled oil on my alternator and didn't tell me about it, then my car broke down a few weeks later so I took it somewhere else and they told me whoever changed the oil spilled some on the alternator. I took it back to them and told them they needed to fix it, they tried to play dumb, but eventually they admitted it. Flash forward to today, I tried giving them another chance with an oil change cause prices everywhere else are pretty rough right now. I come in and they tell me they're ordering a filter and it'll be about 10 mins. Two hours go by and I ask for an update. They say they accidentally ordered the wrong filter and that they're ordering the correct one, and it'll take about 10 mins. So here I am, another two hours later and my entire day gone, hoping that they changed it correctly. They probably spilled some oil somewhere else knowing these guys though. If I would've known it was gonna take 4 hours, I wouldn't have waited here, but I came in and they told me it wouldn't take long. I don't know if it's the management, or the work culture, or something else, but this is a terrible Firestone and you should not take your car here.
