They explained the different services available and some of the different things I may experience during the session. I laid on a massage type table on my back with my eyes closed. During the process Ted never touched me. However, I could feel different sensations in various parts of my body. I felt burning through my left arm from my shoulder to my fingers. I experienced a release of emotions that brought me to tears. I had involuntary REM at times and a couple of mild heart palpitations. I also saw a very bright white light that I felt as well. When the session ended I shared the various things I'd experienced with them. Tom then shared what he felt and explained the status of each of my chakras. He severed the negative attachments to me and surrounded me with a white cloak of protection. This was a very positive and enlightening experience! Prepare to spend a long time in the office. Hardly any hands on for adjustment. First visit was $100, so I had high expectations. Chiropractor used electrical massager the kind I have at my house. Did not adjust my back at all. The second visit the chiropractor I came back to see was not there, even I was told that they only have one chiropractor. The other chiropractor walked in spent 30 sec with activator in his hands and said good by. Does not worth the money. Right away went to see another chiropractor's office for adjustment. If you are a veteran or know a veteran, make sure they know they can ask for services through the VA. I was lucky in that I was assigned here by the VA.

I thought that I would LOVE to be cracked like a glow stick, especially watching those satisfying videos on social media. Turns out, it scares me half to death. I had pulled something in my neck and ended up going to The Joint as a quick fix as Lakewood is closed on the weekends. I was so terrified when they cracked my neck, yes it felt good, yes it brought me relief, but it was a quick fix in a dire time of need. Plus, The Joint charges $50 per walk in visit. I wasn't going to sign up for the program, which seems worth it if you don't have a regular chiropractor, just for a quick fix. I ended up telling Dr. Edenfield that I had gone to the joint and he told me in the future if any sudden pain like that happens, like throwing out my neck/back, to reach out to the office as he sometimes is in on the weekends. When he adjusted me, he said I was out of whack due to having gone to The Joint, which I do believe. My insurance covers the visits and the copay is only $35 a visit. I have seen significant improvement, and Dr. Edenfield keeps me informed and updated on my progress. First every week, then every 2, and now I'm every 4-6 weeks. Highly recommend for older individuals or anyone who struggles with the sound or general pressure/movements from general chiropractic care.
