The complex is being refurbished but there is no way the Bakery should change too much at all. But I had come for a pie and ended up with three - Thursday is Buy 2; Get 1 Free. My companion and I ate our Plain pies there on the spot and I took home a Steak and Mushroom for dinner. It was also excellent with generous chunky pieces of meat, onion and mushroom in a rich thick gravy. The pastry is light as air with the flakiest top I have seen in ages and under $5. I will be trying out many more of their goods over the next weeks and months. Chris, behind the counter is bright, bubbly and cheerful and seems genuinely pleased to be serving you. That was until I was the holy cabinet stocked with a massive rage of meat pies. I chose a pepper steak pie and relished in my choice of nosh. The meat was chunky, the gravy was thick and there wasn't an overbearing smash of pepper on my palette. Everything was just in tune and balance with each other.
