This is a stop every time I go to Georgia when the season starts! My dad will never let me forget to bring him peaches and plums. These are the best I've had thus far. Sac peaches are better than Georgia peaches hands down. The preserves and peaches cider is great also. read more

I stopped by Abbott Farms for the first time during a road trip in 2002, and it turned out to be one of the best unexpected gems. Since then, it has been an integral part of my trips up and down Interstate 85 for over 23 years and that small stop makes every journey even better. The place has a charming, country market feel with shelves full of homemade jams, jellies, relishes, and their famous peach cider. I have my staples that I get on every stop (boiled peanuts) but always sample a little bit of everything and ended up leaving with bags full of goodies. The moonshine pickles and cheese bread are among my favs, and I can tell everything is made with care and local ingredients. The staff is always warm, welcoming, happy to chat and offer recommendations. Ther is always plenty of parking and it's the kind of place that feels like a throwback to simpler times. No frills, just great products and genuine hospitality. If you're driving through South Carolina, Abbott Farms is absolutely worth the stop! read more

This was my first stop on today's Yelping tour. I was hoping against hope that they might have some tomatoes. They sure did: exactly three in number and kinda on the poor side. The nice lady working there told me what I already figured. She told me I'd have to go to the grocery store. Oh well; I'd been wanting to stop here for awhile. It's still a worthwhile stop as they have a lot of other stuff including fireworks! read more

Cute little store right off of hwy 85, so convenient when traveling and my husband loves anything peach. Lots of canned preserved jams and peach salsa, not much fresh produce tho which was disappointing, mostly just apples, but it is the end of October now. Love the homemade bread loaves! Has a great selection of fireworks as well. read more

This has been our go-to for great peaches in the past. This year, after driving over 100 miles (and from the Peach State) to get these peaches, we are VERY dissappointed. Peach sample was great, price was reasonable, but out of the 9 baskets we bought I was only able to save maybe 3 baskets, to process. They had been in the cooler (maybe even frozen) and when we got them home on Sat. they were hard and laid out on the dining room table. My Mon pm, I had a river of peach juice flowing off the table onto my floor. Yes, I contacted them and attempted to get some compensation... NO ONE WANTS TO MAKE ANY DECISIONS TO KEEP A CUSTOMER read more

Being in the area headed to N.C. decided to stop in and take a look. All kinds of random things can be bought here nuts, local honeys even fireworks. After chatting with the lady behind the counter about where to get b.b.q bought a local ginger ale and was on my way. She sent me to Bluegrass b.b.q which was a waste of time, the meat was so Dry. read more

i am originally from Alabama and I return to Alabama every July to see family. I always stop at Abbott Farms in Cowpens and take peaches home for family. I am NEVER disappointed -- but I always confirm that free stones are available before stopping -- (they are just better!). This year was no different. I got peaches going to Alabama (they were one variety); I got peaches for myself returning from Alabama (a different variety) - but both varieties were delicious as always! read more

Friendly staff. The delicious peach cider was so refreshing. The local strawberries were huge ripe and ready. Hope to pass by again. Thanks Angie! read more

We just bought some peaches from the stand in Gaffney and we let them sit on our counter for 3 days like they told us to do and they are the WORST peaches we ever had! They have no taste at all! I hope the ones they have at the festival will be better. Buyer beware, try before you buy. read more

I found this place years ago while driving in South. Carolina. I am glad they ship because I'm not in the south much and was able to order the pickles, chow chow, apple butter, pickled peaches and peach chutney. My package arrived in excellent condition, on time and tasted excellent! I will definitely order more! read more

We stopped here while traveling. Such a pleasurable shopping experience. The Cajun boiled peanuts made us wanna turn back around and purchase a gallon. They were divine. The homemade ice cream my kids loved. And oh em gee, the peach cider was PHENOMENAL. So fresh. I think I'll stop by again on our way back down to purchase a gallon. The pecan brittle was also yummy. So glad it's right off the highway. My toddler loved the energy, she didn't even want to leave. That's always a good thing! read more

I had the opportunity to stop here on my way to Charlotte and boy was I excited. The owner was a older lady who was very pleasant, she gave me a little history a few items that offered and they have a few items out ready for you to sample if this is your 1st visit like it was mine. I was excited to sample their Peach Salsa and Peach Cider which was great! I have never been to a place like this. I feel in love with the Peach Cider so, buying this is a must. The also, make and sell...various other ciders like Blackberry, Cherry, Strawberry and a few other. Also, various Salsa's, salad dressings, jam/presserve, honey's, hot sauce, fresh grown Peaches in a jar (I regret not buying the Vanilla Peaches in a jar). :-( Next visit I will pick them up though. However, on this 1st visit I did settle on the Peach Cider (which was 95% peach and 5% apple) somehow my tastebuds of apple over-road the 95% peach which was strange. My sister dis-agreed and said she tasted the 95% peach...guess you'll have to try that yourself to determine. Anywho, I also grabbed a bottle of Peach Salad dressing, Peach Salsa and a individual serving of home-made Peach Ice Cream which I enjoyed as I continued on my way to Charlotte. This is a must try if you are traveling. read more

The prices are on the little expensive side, but it's well worth it. Their product line is massive and most of the stuff we had was very very good. We tried white peaches, yellow peaches, and a peach preserve, peach cider, old fashioned peach. (Wow we bought a lot writing about it..) It's beyond fresh on the peaches we bought, and old fashioned peach in a jar was fantastic. We are yet to try the preserve. We stopped by on our way up to NY and on our way back, we made SURE they were open when we were about to cross. Deducting one star due to location, it's hard to get to the store when you are on the other side. (It's more likely the city or whoever planned the hwy exit but it's just a fact :( ) read more

Stopped here on a road trip from Atlanta to New Hampshire. Not only did they have a great variety of farm fresh products but the woman at the register was one of the most genuine, polite, helpful, and pleasant people. Stop in here to pickup farm fresh products or even some fireworks and meet the amazing team at Abbott Farms!!! read more

Right off I-85 with all the quirkiness you can expect from a roadside local attraction. The sugar-free peach cider is sweet and the jalapeño peach jelly is delicious. Lots of peach and peanut inspired products and the fruit flavored honey sticks (3 for a dollar) make a great little road trip snack, even better when used as a straw in hot tea. Fun little place to stop off and stretch your legs, and half the store is dedicated to the sale of fireworks. read more

Closed, Day after 4th. Expected. Happy Holidays Abbott'S. See ya on the way back. Heading into Charlotte.

This is a good place to stop. They have samples of many of their products. My wife and son liked their sweet potato butter and I was happy to see that they sell Blenheim Ginger Ale - both regular and hot. The Blenheim alone justifies stopping here. read more

DO NOT GO ON A SATURDAY NIGHT! Sign said open till 8pm on 8/27/16 so we stopped in at 7:05pm. Party of 5 looking to find fresh fruits and bread. Could not use restrooms since they had decided to mop early, too rude to check if they were dry, no sample of anything since they had put all of that up too. Nasty attitudes, will never go back. read more

I bought two half-bushels of peaches and some other goodies here about 1 1/2 weeks ago. 18 peaches turned out to be rotten and moldy. Six others had live, active worms. When I called customer service they told me that I could not get any type of compensation/refund and that some rotten fruit is always to be expected. read more

Having seen several signs on the highway regarding Abbott Farms, I decided to stop and check things out and I was not disappointed. The inside of the store is stocked with a variety of fresh and homemade items, I had an opportunity to purchase Pure Raw Honey, which to my surprise the inside of the jar contained an actual honeybee comb and other items including Old Fashioned Peach soda, which is delicious to taste. At the time of my visit to the store, I met a very friendly and pleasant man, who I assumed was the owner of the store, who shared with me tidbits about various items in the store. Overall, I am glad I had an opportunity to visit Abbott Farms, I make sure to visit again, so when you see the billboard advertising Abbott Farms, make an effort to stop by Abbott Farms and try out the various sample items... guess what they ship items across the US. read more
