While it's true I did not know I was required to pay a City Tax, it's reasonable that a professional tax preparer would know and make the client aware. When I notified John of the letter from the city and asking for help to resolve this I was ghosted. He stated he would get back in touch the following week and never did. I did try to reach him by phone but no response. Obviously I'm moving my business elsewhere as this has cost me in penalty, late fees, and the cost of having 4 years of returns amended with the City. My point is be sure you know what you need done and don't expect any assistance from Benzing because you will be left high and dry to deal with any issues that come up by yourself. I cannot recommend this firm.
