So currency ordered via their website which is simple to use and you get a confirmation email.You then pay Griffin by bacs(you can pay by card if you call them also)They confirm receipt of the bacs payment by email and my currency arrived the next day by signed delivery.Brilliant and this way meant we got much more for our £. a large bank, with nice seating areas and well presented. a professional yet modern atmosphere but…read morethe counter is quite small and secluded, making queuing that much more frustrating when you are in a hurry. plenty of cash machines and paying in machines too, which is an added bonus. staff are always well presented, with good customer service skills they are helpful and friendly, if a bit pushy sometimes. coudl be a better use of staff at busy times though, customers are left waiting when staff are standing around.

Foreign currency, money orders etc etc can be ordered with any services not being available at the local branch being referred to the larger Barclays Bank in Rayleigh High Street. Which can be frustrating as they are more interested in telling you to use the machines to pay in or take out money and will happily teach you rather than reduce the queues. In many bank surveys this branch and Nat West Bank overall comes out poor (one star out of 5) for service. Especially the branch in Southend on Sea, Essex.
